    I HATE HSBC!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I started the day so positively and am now feeling so angry and depressed. Need mega virtual hugs and support people:(. i got a phonecall from the collections department this morning saying they wanted full payment of my arrears which is just over 300.00. I explained that i had sorted this out on Monday and it had been agreed I could pay back 50.00 a month. But apparently at HSBC the employees don't speak to each other as Ben from collections had no record of this on his shiny computer screen:eek::eek:

    Forty five minutes i spent on that phone repeating myself and in the end Ben from collections did transfer the first fifty pound payment i had put aside but still refused to put a concrete payment plan in place. So by God did he get the full force of my wrath!:mad::mad::mad:. In the end I told him i will be paying another 50.00 into my account at the end of this month and if they don't take it i will be going into my local branch of HSBC and personally handing it over to the manager. I am just so frustrated that like everyone else on here i am working so hard to pay off my debts but it just doesn't seem to be good enough. Am now going to write a very detailed letter of complaint to my local branch telling them what i think of their so called customer service :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :grouphug:
    At least you didn't back down! Good for you!!!!
    You may well receive even more calls from various people in the collections department who will deny all knowledge of any previous agreements.

    If they keep phoning tell them you will deal with them by post only! and hang up, that way, you have in writing anything agreed.

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    now hello again, i would just like to inform you i am recording this conversation for my records so please can you confirm you full name, the company your are phoning from and the time......

    generaly makes them ever so pleasent to deal with and they do generally make notes on your file!

    ok this does work even better if you do have a dictor phone or recording device of some sort!

    quick edit, although writing is the best way of course as you then have written proof

    on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
    30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
