    nom nom, sandwiches!

When I was in Tescos there were a load of Reps from Carlsberg clogging up the foyer giving out flyers with deals for beer - something to do with football. There was a huge inflatable arena thing with football related stuff in it in the car park too.

I really don't like it when beer companies sponsor sports and activities, it just perpetuates the image that it's only of interest to fat beer swilling men who's only exercise consists of staggering home from the pub and raising their pint glass to their gaping maw.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Thanks, I started a couple of years ago, then had a break of a few months and returned to it seriously last summer before the Great North Run.

I've upped my training since joining the running club in November last year, that's helped enormously, mainly because they make us run up big fat hills!

Everytime I'm driving round your way I'm amazed that you manage to run up the hills around there!

I can't believe I only woke up an hour ago, I'd forgotten how much the totm affects me, I really need to sort out the coil.

Meeting ex in town in a bit to give him some post, so I'll be making sure new glam Ames makes an appearance to show him what he's missing!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Good for you Ames!
If it weren't for the running club I would be avoiding all the hills because I'm a wuss!

Awww the kitties have just been quite active. I wonder when they'll realise it's easier to go around each other than over.

    Ooh,go you Ames!!

We woke up to a lovely cold, dark house this morning. It would appear we lost power around 4.40 am, so DH and I decided to go out shopping for all sorts of odd bits n bobs. Had coffee and bacon sarnies in a Costa coffee to warm up, and now we are back and have power again-hurrah!!

They are getting more playful aren't they?

The stripy ones are boys and the tortoiseshell one is a little girl, they've named her 'Mimi' short for mini me because she has virtually the exact same markings as Poppy!

I'm officially bored. Plenty to do but can't get motivated. Feel a bit in limbo until I get the call, whichever way it goes

Luc...i hate that limbo feeling. you just want to wait one way or the other.....preferably the right way..
