Hi all,
I'm wondering whether it is the combination of year end and easter holidays that is making it quiet.
I finished work yesterday and was I pleased.
European Audit was still going on which meant I didn't get half the things done in my last two days that I wanted to, the audit itself was being conducted in a microscopic manner and someone had decided that our leaflets were out of date and to put them in a skip withough asking....it was about 12 boxes worth. My blood pressure was going through the ceiling.
Going to have a month of decorating, pottering and ringing contacts followed by concerted efforts to get a job. Does this seem unreasonable? My brother seems to think it's terrible that I'm having a facial and a haircut today.

haha my general feeling of Bradford is that it is a giant hole filled with the substance which comes from a dogs anus...but at least its better than Hull
I wouldn't bet any money on that!

well from my experience it is, Brother went to uni in Bradford and one of my best mates went to uni in Hull so i spent a reasonable amount of time in each place and i have to say Hull really is my least favourite place i have ever been toDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Right, that's the cheque payed in, I hate queueing up in the bank in town on a week day with the huge earring wearing, tattooed, unwashed, unemployed masses.
I also had to call into the wretched hive of scum and villainy (Soccer Sports) because my son needed a new bag for his school gym kit.
I resisted Starbucks - yes, Bradford has a Starbucks! and called into Tesco instead for a Soreen cinnamon & sultana loaf which were on BOGOF.
*offers slices round*

I lived in a pub opposite Bradford Uni halls of residence for a couple of years Gonzo, circa 1993-1995 used to have a right laugh with the students!

Morning
Have been and done the monthly shop £124  think that is the most I have EVER spent in tesco...should only need to buy milk, yogs and fruit and keep to the £150 budget. Also realised that of course Ive bought stuff for meals which in fact half of will be left to go in freezer so hoping next month it will be even less
Been to hand in housing benefits forms...got home and loads of letters from HB for OH, opened and there is a letter asking for £600 odd for the overpayment !!!!!!. So going to have to go back and see if they can take it off my new claimI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0 -
