I've given in and fed Maureen, she was starving, miaowing like crazy - which is most unlike her, she's normally a very quiet puss, (Dennis is the gobby one)
    and she's skinny enough.

You kind of have to trust them to know what they need sometimes. If they were feral they would be able to trust their instincts...

How long you been running now? You must be really proud of how well you are doing:T

Thanks, I started a couple of years ago, then had a break of a few months and returned to it seriously last summer before the Great North Run.

I've upped my training since joining the running club in November last year, that's helped enormously, mainly because they make us run up big fat hills!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

it doesnt get much better as they get older either, my DSD can not get her mind around the fact her mum was a person before she was her mum, intellectually she understands that she was but the full understanding of what that means just doesnt sink in properly

i also think she still wants to believe that imaculate conception can and does happen - but of course only to her mum...3 kids all of them miricle births
