How does that make it unfair as we all have to wait for validation when we join new companies? some of mine have taken 6weeks to 2 months for other companies but it is all part of the process. as for not being real jobs when has this been mentioned? Why would any company send you out to places that are not real?

Has anyone done the Helion training in Firefox? I tried the other evening but my PC is cr*p at streaming and I was struggling to play the videos... tried to pause to allow it to catch up (this was for the observation bit) and it just jumped to the questions before I'd even watched the clip. And no option to go back. Gah. I ended up just closing the window so not sure if this will count as one of my attempts as I didn't actually complete it?

IE is usually even slower, so I didn't bother trying... not sure how to get around it? I would do it at work ( ) but you need sound on and I don't think I'd get away with that in a shared office!!

I know there were quite a few jobs on there in my area so really want to do it!

Deedee - I haven't submitted a photo yet, but can still do the training?

Yes I have done it in firefox on a mac and had the same issues. The second time around I managed to get through it. Email Max as I told him I had problems so he knows there are issues with the training.

As for photos I do not have one on my profile and you can still do the training and work. Its the other sections of your personal profile that you need to check are completely filled in to be able to get to the next stage.

Someone has said this morning it says on the website that not all the jobs require to be done, so the ones that are left (that you and I can see) are likely not to be allocated (thus my comment about them not being real jobs)

I can't seem to access the training, it keeps sending me round in circles telling me to complete the profile. The only thing outstanding is the validation.


I do take on board that some people like some companies that others don't, and I am not looking for an argument, but I will continue to express my own opinion.

of course you should DeeDee as we all have companies that we hate working for and vice versa. TERN and GAP both sacked me so they go at the bottom of my pile, TERN even more so

Does it tell you which sections of your profile are outstanding and what percentage is complete? I found I had more questions I needed to answer that I did not see the first time around so it might be the same for you. I think there was a button (did not see it originally) that allows you to see the questions you have outstanding so that might help.

i will now be adding the company that cannot be named to my list of worst companies emailed them to check why I have not heard anything since beginning of feb and seems like they have "sacked me" without informing me. I was due to complete a job and the POS did not arrive in the post and then I was snowed in and they did not send out another POS for me to use. Anyhow becuase I have not send the POS back - I could not as I am still waiting for it to get to me I have been "sacked" and not told.

I am getting so sick of companies being like this as if something goes missing in the post and they do not send out a replacement for me use for the visit why does that mean I am then seen as unreliable and not allowed to work for them again Has anyone else had the same problems with this company - up to now I had thought I had got on OK with them just getting work very occasionally I get to the stage of thinking ms-ing is pointless

I did the training in Firefox - the only thing I found was that I had to select the slide to view on the right hand side and then press play when there was a test question.

And as for posting jobs that aren't real thats not what the note says. It says other jobs that have not been allocated have been put on hold. Maybe they are just waiting to get a wave of jobs done before releasing the next lot. Seems reasonable.

Thanks angel, everything is showing as 100%. there was an additional question about whether I had a business website but it's all completed now.

Never mind, I'll get there in the end.
