500 Tesco Clubcard points for a £6.00 spend

I've just nipped into my local store, they had none of the Forever Love CD, but I have left the night staff searching through the drawers to find any other cheapies for themselves!

Can I just say a big thankyou to the mse'er (or paid to shopper I'm posting there too) who found about 40+ FL in the drawer underneath the stand just as I got there at Kingston Park in Newcastle and was generous enough to give me half. Thank you so much.

There are still Kings of Leon CD's around for £4, and these may well sell on E-bay to re-coup some of the cost, so even if you sell for £2-£3 each you'll have only spent a few £s on the CD's and get £20 worth of deal tokens. Or CEX give £1 exchange, 50p cash

BTW couldn't see any FL in Northampton Weston Favell today - they did have Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys.

Also had Rhythm Paradise for the DS for £8 with 250 points (£10 of deal tokens) - CEX £2 cash, £3 exchange. So buy for £8, CEX cash for £2, £6 outlay = £10 points. Or if you have a DS play it - it's a good game!! There is also some fashion game for £6 but it was OOS

If upon asking the store claims to have no FL copies left, and you notice that little storage draw, see it open spot them and pick up a few. Do you think thats ok or can they do anything about that if they are picked up within the isles?.

Thats fine.

If you think the SA's are not teling you the truth then ask at CS as their computer will show them what stock they have. You can then speak to the section manager to make sure they are looked for properly.

By the way the points from the copies bought upto now are showing fine this morning.

Sadly, it seems the FL opportunity has passed

Having bought varius CDs twice in the last 48 hrs, I went back in this morning and actually asked if they had FL. The SA bought one out and said they had about 50. Bought it with the Goldfrapp, which gave me points yesterday, and no bonus points today.

Absolutely gutted as if I'd thought to ask yesterday I'd now have £500 worth of points.

Goldfrapp is a bargain chart Cd isn't it? If so, my guess is its this one that failed you with the points, not the FL one. Try going back and buying 2 FL cd's. I reckon you'll get points (but thats just a hunch).

EDIT.......further posts suggesting this is not the case, sorry.
