Declaring NSDs 8 & 9 please for yesterday and today. Very pleased with myself - only one more to go for my original target so think I *might* up the stakes a little once I hit 10.

Today hasn't been toooo bad as a spend day goes.

£4.60 on bus fares (unavoidable with my hospital appt)
£1 on small dried ravioli (meant for babies of 12 months+, but will be used as 'snack' foods by me and DS)
£2.18 on milk
60p on spuds (2kg)
60p on satsumas (whoopsied to half price 12 fruits in total)
98p on 2xB@ttenberg (stores own whoopsied to half price, and a saving of 51p on the BOGOF offer on the 'branded' version)
2x tubs clotted cream to go with some scones and jam I already have in - whoopsied to half price, and a total indulgence (but a treat to myself after having my eye messed with - especially as I've ended up with a lovely shiner :eek: )

Now all I need to do is make sure Saturday and Sunday are NSDs, so I think I'm going to have to stay in and spend the time on my declutter - but I'm going to head to bed for a couple of hours right now as I'm feeling a little drained



I did make good use of the bus ticket/journey though. Dawned on me very late last night I had some cheques needing paying in, but I've not been near a branch of either of my banks in months so they've just been sitting in a drawer So, as I had to change bus within spitting distance of a branch of each of them, I went and got them paid in..... one from last Aug (luckily marked as valid for 12 months), one from Dec, one from Jan and one from Feb - totalling pennies under £114 :T

I was out of the house at 8:40am, at hospital at 10:20 (for 10:30 appt, having done the banking on the way as I wasn't sure I'd be up to it on the return journey), done, dusted and out by 11:20 and home for 12:30pm. Hadn't expected to be that quick, so was really impressed
