I'm loving the holidays but can't do many nsd's while lovely people keep inviting me out for lovely coffee and cake at lovely coffee shops! Tonight at M&S, tomorrow at a garden centre - so looks like next nsd will be Friday (hopefully) How many days are there left in April?! :p

Yipppeeee, NSD no 3 today :j. Helped mainly by doing shopping yesterday, and working all day today !!

Plan on making tomorrow another NSD...not sure about Friday...we'll see!

It 's a beautiful evening tonight...would love to work in the garden for a bit, but have tea to sort and, well, actually my back is a bit cream-crackered after my first full day at work for over 15 months!! So I will enjoy a stroll in the garden and perhaps a sit down to listen to the birds and soak up some rays! :)

Yesterday was a NSD for me, and sig update.

Today on the other hand......oooops! We did the 5p bowling this morning, and then I decided to treat the kids. They got some bits and we also ate out. Think we managed to get through about.........£80 :o although in that I got my dad a birthday pressie which he will love, and it was reduced to a fiver. I havent redeemed myself with that purchase at all :rotfl:even at a fiver!

Must focus and try harder! :j

I personally think that in light of her recent troubles we should invite Dawn French along on our virtual night out...........am sure it would proper cheer her up and perhaps it would also mean that we would have some else to laugh at rather than BigMummaF?
Great idea curlygirl, think she'd be good fun. Good to see lots of people are joining us this time - is Glasgow ready for us, do you think? :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi everyone
Back later to update NSDs - few more being reported today, well done everyone:T

It was announced yesterday that her and Lenny have split up after 25 years. Am not usually well up on show biz goss myself but that 'headline' caught my attention

Aww thats sad - would definately rather take Dawn than Lenny out for a night on the tiles tho!

A massive spend day for me as my wages finally cleared - food shopping, paid all the bills, bought all the last minute bits for the wedding etc etc. Am feeling very proud tho as I've got everything for the bare minimum from Ebay :) and also I took my mum into town to get her 'mother of the bride' outfit - she got a new top, bag, shoes, hair-thingy (fascinator?!?) and jacket for under £70. I got away with not spending anything I hadnt already planned - woohoo! Looks like we're going to come in well under budget for the wedding, except all the people we invited who we thought wouldnt come have said they're coming - oops!

I also had a complete meltdown mid-afternoon and needed emergency chocolate so my only unplanned spend today was 50p on a tube of smarties! :)
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....

I am officially declaring a NSD - just had a bath and am now in jimjams so no spending possible now!
    Am quite pleased with myself.
I think tomorrow will probably be a spending day as I will have to post something but will keep it low.
Now on 3 out of 10!
  • No 3 NSD for me! : )
Think i will be spending tomorrow as seeing a mate, so will get bus to hers and then going out for a meal on friday (being paid for) but might have to buy a couple drinks. Will try to keep spends as low as poss.
