Ahem, had an NSD as I needed jeans that fit me....but they only cost a tenner.

Think tomorrow we might be going shopping, but that's allowed, so hopefully an NSD.

  • Evening everyone, first NSD of the month here. No chance of me sneaking out to spend anything either I've eaten something that clearly didn't agree with my insides and will spend all evening running back and forth from the bathroom, lucky me.

    Things can only get better!

First NSD for me this month. Forgot it's my sister's b'day tomorrow so won't be an NSD tomorrow. Really need to do a plan of my spending for month though as I'm sure I could get more NSDs if I work out when I can do lots of spending on one day (my SDs are ANY days I spend money, only thing budgeted for is DD payments).

Only debt I currently have is mortgage but I didn't work 2008/09 (now do 20 hrs a week) so my tax credits are worked out on benefits only from that year. In 2010/11 they will be a great deal less as they will take into consideration earnings from 2009/10. Aiming to save what I can before it all goes horribly wrong.:money:

Just read that back. I know what I want to say but does it make sense? Edit: No it didn't! Have rewritten..

Anyway, a good start to April, well done everone:j *Goes off to update sig*

  • Wow well done to all those who have already had a NSD!!

...I certainly did not, petrol, bit of food, eyeshadow...as my old one came out in big blotches on my eyes this morning which was most unattractive, and Festival tickets...over £350!

No chance of one tomorrow, am going to the cinema with DD before she leaves to see her dad for the easter hols, hoping for 2 NSD's this weekend though.

    Welcome all newbies.

Aiming for 12 again this month. A little more planning is needed on my side though to reach it. HAve a mystery shop today though so will be spending on that but hopefully nothing more x
Hi gettingthereslowly, welcome to the April thread, you are now registered for your 12, so no backing out now:). Let's hope we can help you to get there, and hopefully a bit quicker than you think!:)

Hiya Spoon - Many thanks for 'baby sitting' us this month :T
Please can I be put down for my normal 11.

I ignore Direct Debits, and any other 'regular' payments (which includes window cleaner, car expenses, dog expenses and presents). Means I'm keeping a close eye on groceries, toiletries, cleaning items, and my 'anything else' (which includes household bits and bobs, tools for DIY, clothes/shoes, CDs, DVDs, books, magazines.....).
But I'm also logging my 'Total NSDs', in the hope that I can get into the habit on only shopping on 'regular payment days' and change my counting system later on in the year ;) (Have already changed from only couting groceries)
Hi cw18, it's a pleasure:). Welcome to the April thread - you are so organised with your NSDs that you put most of us to shame:o. Look forward to seeing your progress through April:)
