Hi rachelmk, of course we don't mind if you join - the more the merrier - so welcome aboard:), good to have you here:). Fingers crossed with the job hunting and good luck with the economising, sounds as though you're going to potentially have a tough time in July and August. Have a look at the old style board on here - there are lots of ideas for making do on a very small budget, you might find some ideas there. There are also some ideas on the first page of this thread. Look forward to seeing you around on here regularly:)
Thanks for the welcome - I have saved enough money to see me through a couple of months and will try to get a job to cover the essentials during the school holidays (which will be all of July and August for me) but would like to use as little of my savings as possible during this time so frugality starts in earnest now!0 -
Hiya
Did really badly last month....but that was then time to draw a line under
failings and greet April with renewed viger.
So Iam going for 18 again this month
Time to batten down the hatches me thinks
Good luck every one0 -
Well, I turn my back for a couple of days and find 7 pages to catch up on!! Nice to see so many new and old faces on here.
I'm aiming for 15 again this month please Spoon, good luck keeping us all in line! Will aim for a lot more next month but got all the pre-wedding gubbins to get through first so will be happy with my usual this month.
Welcome to all the newbies (I'm on my fourth month so I've promoted myself to a 'not-quite-newbie') and good luck to everyone! xxx
PS: Where is the party at this month? Did I hear a rumour about heading north of the border? _party_Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -

Well done for signing up for 15 this month - you've got a lot on at the moment:). Look forward to your updates - keep us posted on the wedding progress.
Party - hmmmm I think we were talking about Glasgow - we certainly can't go back to Newcastle again after the pole dancing episode:rotfl:katholicos wrote: »I'm a bit disappointed that i didn't manage the 14 NSD's this month, because i know i could have really. Now there's a thought
On a related note........anyone know how BigMummaF is doing? I worry about her all on her lonesome
I've just emailed BigMumma to see how she's doing - she couldn't get on here at all earlier in the week (and I don't think Martin has banned her just yet - although he might have done had he heard about the episode with the knickers and the policeman last weekend:rotfl:). Will let you know. The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
