Hi rachelmk, of course we don't mind if you join - the more the merrier - so welcome aboard:), good to have you here:). Fingers crossed with the job hunting and good luck with the economising, sounds as though you're going to potentially have a tough time in July and August. Have a look at the old style board on here - there are lots of ideas for making do on a very small budget, you might find some ideas there. There are also some ideas on the first page of this thread. Look forward to seeing you around on here regularly:)

Thanks for the welcome - I have saved enough money to see me through a couple of months and will try to get a job to cover the essentials during the school holidays (which will be all of July and August for me) but would like to use as little of my savings as possible during this time so frugality starts in earnest now!

Well, I turn my back for a couple of days and find 7 pages to catch up on!! Nice to see so many new and old faces on here.

I'm aiming for 15 again this month please Spoon, good luck keeping us all in line! Will aim for a lot more next month but got all the pre-wedding gubbins to get through first so will be happy with my usual this month.

Welcome to all the newbies (I'm on my fourth month so I've promoted myself to a 'not-quite-newbie') and good luck to everyone! xxx

PS: Where is the party at this month? Did I hear a rumour about heading north of the border? _party_
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....

Hello Hello Hello - fancy meeting you here Spoon :j
I've just joined the Make £10 a Day in April Challenge and now want to join the gang on here too - I'll go for 15 NSD's in April - so put me on the membership list please - should be easy - we've got no money this month - hence the frantic eBaying
See you back Troll Busting later:beer:
Hi 3Dogs:wave: - great to see a fellow Trollzapper on here:). Friendly (and slightly nutty!) bunch on here, you'll feel right at home. :) Consider yourself joined up now so no slacking, I know where to find you:D
Can you put me down for 15 NSD this month please?
Thanks for starting the thread for this month
    Off we go again tomorrow!
Hi fedupandskint, welcome to the April thread:). All signed up now, look forward to some regular updates:)

Hi katenut, welcome back:). Yes this thread is becoming very popular. Will try very hard to keep all you lovely people in line but, as we're now at over 70, that could be a bit difficult:D.
Well done for signing up for 15 this month - you've got a lot on at the moment:). Look forward to your updates - keep us posted on the wedding progress.
Party - hmmmm I think we were talking about Glasgow - we certainly can't go back to Newcastle again after the pole dancing episode:rotfl:

No probs, rachel, good to have you here. Sounds as though you are pretty organised anyway, but, as you say, good to be prepared.
    Good luck:)

    Hi curlygirl:)
I've just emailed BigMumma to see how she's doing - she couldn't get on here at all earlier in the week (and I don't think Martin has banned her just yet - although he might have done had he heard about the episode with the knickers and the policeman last weekend:rotfl:). Will let you know.
