NSD number 8! :j:j And my target reached today! :j:j To be honest, it was a real struggle. I forgot to make my packed lunch last night  and I didn't have time this morning! :( But, I snacked on freebie bickkies and coffee at a meeting this morning and freebie water at work this afternoon until I could get home! Not exactly the most healthy day, but I'm eating properly this evening and I was soooo determined to make today the day I reached my target! :)

    Best wishes, all! :A

Nipped back for my garlic baguette, and managed to get a pack of Whoopsied almond croissants for breakfast tomorrow :)

Also came home with (all whoopsied) a pack of blueberry and lemon crowns (a new line, so trying these before customers starts asking questions is essential ;) ), a seeded baguette (lunch tomorrow), a sandwich loaf (general use), a small multigrain loaf (butties, and possibly toast, for me), a pack of 5 large scotch eggs (mine, as DS doesn't like them), a 1.5kg bag of carrots (most will be used as dog treats, as he has allergies which means he can't have 'normal' dog treats!), a brioche loaf (supper tomorrow with strawberry jam), and a non-Whoopsied Ber0 cookbook.

Total cost (before staff discount) of £2.99 including 99p for the book, so a great value shop in my eyes :T

No excuse for any shopping in the next few days now (unless DS polishes off the milk), so I'm hopeful of getting another couple of NSDs before month end :D

NSD number 14 today :j:j, only one more to go!! Should manage it tomorrow...fingers crossed!!

Thanks everyone for their lovely kind words, sorry to have bored you with my toe troubles the last few days. The pain has at last started to ease this evening...all the icing seems to have helped a lot. I can't wait to get my new "boot", not heard when though!!

I might make a matching cushion, to co-ordinate with the bootees that I am making. I still need to keep my foot raised, so will need a spare chair!

I am certainly still up for Friday night, and am happy to co-ordinate the dancing....not done much Scottish Country Dancing for years though!!
    :D

Right, to to do more stitching...slept most of the afternoon, so didn't get much done...want to finish my card this evening.

    Night. night all.

Right....Have just read today's posts.......was going to reply to a lot of them......didn't press quote button.......don't know what to say now........uummmmmmmmmm

Oh yes, NSD 20 today. :T

Does this thread have to revert to toilet/toileting anecdotes at the end of every month?

Seems we had Curlygirls's underground [STRIKE]recollection[/STRIKE] nightmare last month and now we've got tales of chucking gents out of their toilets at clubs! (I've mentioned before that I've spent a very sheltered life, these things just don't happen in Yarmouth .......or I can't remember them happening :D) Where is curlygirl BTW?

Don't worry everyone, blue shiny boots at the ready to kick some butt if needed.

Gonna take me a long time to get there though. Nearest motorway is 1 1/2 hrs away but that goes towards London! Autoroute says if I leave at 9am and drive non-stop I should be there by 3.15pm (400 miles!). Fat chance, it used to take me four hours to get to Sheffield when I worked there and that's only 150 miles. Plane? possibly, nearest airport is Norwich. Train? I'd have to leave tomorrow :rotfl:

Any ideas for best MSE way to travel?

Don't want to miss our little shindig.

We've beaten March's page count, that was only 44 pages long. Just popping back to pages 23/24 of this month. I think there were some nice pictures there.........

(Seems I did have something to say after all.... Sorry for long post!)
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

manic cow: tut tut... needlessly spending.... you need to come on here a bit more often and have your **** kicked a bit, I think:p...... Keeping my fingers crossed for you for Sunday. Well done for your win today:)
:o I know, I know! I've had a very busy couple of weeks, that sunday (11th) didn't turn out to be a nsd in the end but I have at least been keeping track, even if I haven't been online. Sunday 18th was nsd no. 2 of the month, tues 20th was no. 3 (and the only day I've bothered to take lunch to work with me this month ) and today is nsd no. 4 (but only cos I'm off work and had no need to leave the house).

On a more positive note, I've made my lunch for tomorrow already, although I'll still have to spend cos I need to get my bf a birthday card and as it's his birthday tomorrow I can't really postpone that! I always knew april would be tough, I'm upping my target for may though and I'm determined to get back on track.

Ooh - I had NSD number 10 today. It wasn't too much of a struggle, to be honest. I didn't get too much sleep last night as I started work early this morning, so I got home this afternoon, had some food and promptly fell asleep! Can't spend money in your sleep...

I managed 2 more NSDs at the weekend taking my total to 8 so I have achieved target.:j

Will bow out in May (getting married so there are lots of little things to buy!) and be back to whip myself back into shape in June.
