I made it!! NSD no 15 today, so target reached!....:j:j

As to whether I can bring my GC in within target is another thing.. ..still £6.49 left, so may make it! :o May need to get mik on Friday, we'll see. Poor OH was quite taken aback when I told him NOT to go to Lidl this week (for noodles, fish etc). I said I was determined to come in under target, so we could wait until next week!!

Off to do more sewing...determined to finish the card tonight!! ;)

I'm not sure how I'm doing on that side of things either..... haven't updated my spreadsheet in the last 2 weeks, so now have the task of digging out all my receipts so I can key everything in

At least, with thanks to this thread, I know which days I spent on - and have a vague idea of where I spent/what I bought - so I should realise quickly enough if I'm missing any rolleyes.gif

I was wondering what we could do next month, but it seems Urg has come thru :T Gotta start looking for cozzies for the pre-wedding traditional shin-dig & MORE HATS for the 'do' :j You've got to stay posting to give your opinion & prevent wardrobe clashes Urg--please say you will?

What a fun bunch you are! OH and I getting married at the end of May. Not a lot of what we are doing is typical as OH and I from different cultures so we have to meet both of our family backgrounds.

Lots has happened this year and I will be pleased if I can get the wedding sorted in time.

    Waving to you all

It has been a terrible month financially and it seems to have been all outgoings and spending. I'm sad that i have only nailed 6 NSD's this month. I might get another one in, maybe but i doubt it. I think i had better be a bit more realistic with May and go for 10 NSDS for the month of May please!

Yay, I think it's now safe to declare my 10th NSD - target reached! Just in the nick of time too given the next couple of days aren't going to be NSDs!

Phew, that was my first formal attempt - and boy was it tougher than I thought! Spoon, I may need organisational lessons from you! But then, you know that already :D.

Not brave enough yet to up my target for May (especially as it's my birthday in May so I'll have allsorts of excuses at the ready for spending!! In my head I always seem to triple whatever birthday money I do actually get, then believe that I actualy have that money!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now I'm even more intrigued Urg; I do like to learn different aspects of other cultures to the point where I can't really tick a box for any particular 'faith'. There's bits of me that like parts of many religions, which isn't the definition of a believer is it :o I'll ask them all for good weather tho, for end of May especially ;)

I've no problem with females drinking pints PDD; it used to be cheaper buying that way, as opposed to two halves [can't you just tell I've always been mse at heart!] & I went thru a stage of enjoying a black-irish-stout shandy & the bar-folk ALWAYS struggled to get that into a half :p In one establishment I ended up with half pint each of lemonade & gu!ne$$ plus an empty straight pint, as the guy got in such a muddle & told me to mix my own :rotfl:

Grocery Challenge? What GC ..oh Keiss--I just don't know if I shall ever change :embarasse This month I felt justified in stocking up on sardines just before the offer ended--ditto the cheese we like--but I've gone over budget again :( I know it's on stuff we'll use but I guess it would have been a lot worse if I wasn't doing this Challenge too.

As mentioned yesterday was a spender for me. I went into every place I could to find me a new mug to replace the smoked glass one that was broken last week-end, but they've disappeared! Used to see them absolutely everywhere, but as usual--because I want something--they "dant doo them ennimoorrr...sorree" :wall:This may mean another shopping trip tomorrow--OMG! Another bank holiday w/e _pale_ & I loathe shopping on bhw!--but I'm hoping I may fit in just one more nsd too.

Our Beloved Solvent is sorting out the next Challenge just to make sure the Gremlins have left my building, so keep an eye out.
