Another NSD for me today, so that's 12 against my target of 11.

Given the slow start I had this month, I was really happy to reach target yesterday - and getting an extra one today is the icing on the cake :T

Declaring my month total as 12, as I have to go out for milk tomorrow.........

DS is down to the last 1-1.5 pints which I could possibly force him to stretch until first thing Saturday -- but I daredn't leave him without any milk while I'm off up to see OH after work tomorrow until late Saturday or early Sunday ;)

NSD yesterday so 3/5 now - woohooo. I've just had a read of the last page and it's great to see so many peeps hitting their targets - well done all :T

Urg - have a wonderful wedding, I wish you and your husband-to-be a lifetime of happiness together :heartsmil

Right, I am going to try and have NSD number 4 tomorrow, but I may have to go and get DD1 new school shoes - hopefully I can go Saturday instead :)

    Night all x
  • Today was NSD 17 & hopefully tomorrow will be my last one. Going to go for 20 again in may.

Haven't quite met my target, but had to spend on boring stuff like paint, wallpaper & gardening stuff this month, which won't crop up again next month.

Off to cornwall next week for a few days courtesy of the sun newspaper voucher thingy, just when the weather decides to cool down & get wetter4.gif. Think there might be the odd spend on icecream..... & pasties.....& scones & clotted cream....& fish & chips....&....
(as you can see the weight loss challenge has disappeared off my sig)

Pure Dead Dopey: how about a Tartan jumpsuit??? (Bet Lorraine had one!)

Know what you mean about toiletry disasters, used to have the same problem with those stupid teddies in the 1980's (all in one undies for those that weren't around in the 80's). The silly poppers would never pop when you needed em to, or you could never get em to do back up after a few too many diamond whites!2.gif(Well that was my excuse!)

Well done to everyone this month and a big thanks & hugs to solvent for doing such a fab job

    Hello all

2 spend days for me i'm afraid _pale_ although i'm finding i really begrudge spending money these days!!!!
Today i was good, the work lunch out was only six squid thanks to money off vouchers & the fact that i took a bottle of water instead of paying a fortune for a glass of pop that was more ice than anything else!!
Yesterday unfortunately was not so good, spent far too much on Mr A shopping to keep my mother happy over the weekend

Urg, good luck for the wedding, do keep posting!!!!

Was going to delcare my final total for April but whilst writing this thought I may have one tomorrow. None for the last two days, silly spends at the shop.

Re: the transport problem. Asked DS2 how he would get to the other side of the country. "Ask Doctor Who if you can borrow his tardis" was the reply.
TARDIS.gif Problem solved then. dalek12.gif (I love this one!)

Just a few things to do for tomorrow now: HSsingshower.gifHSnails.gifHSbling_smilie.gif
    Then:smilley_dance.gif20.gif but hopefully not :HSgurney.gif

Well, I'm officially declaring an ambismal 6 outof 10 NSDs. I will be having a LSD tomorrow so can safely declare today, more's the pity!

Is there going to be a May thread? It's the only way I'll try harder!
  • OK, I think I have not succeeded. I had a close NSD on Monday, but had to pay for petrol for the work hire car (which I'll get back on expenses), and I have only been counting actual no spends, so it would be cheating :o

I'm going to try for one tomorrow, but we're going away for the weekend so I suspect dinner will be on the road.

So I suspect my final score will be 6/8 NSD. But my first month as a full DFW, so next month will be better :p

:j:j:j Well done every-one! Today was alow spend day - £1.40 postage and 20p parking - which I passed on to soem-one else as I still had 10 mins to go, so hopefully I helped her with an NSD! :D

Can't wait for the May challenge, though will not be off to a good start as going to safari park with friend and her kids and out for early birthday celebrtions at might :D. But I'm ever hopeful.

Spoon, I hope you are feeling better today. Given how little sleep you had yesterday, I'm not surprised you weren't able to round up last night - and I'm glad you caught up on your sleep instead.
