WooHoo I'm free from the hospital, that's going to help save some money, not spending a fiver+ each way in a taxi cause they took the bus off us 2 year's ago. Got another NSD.
Does this mean you won't have to go back at all? Fingers x on that one!
OK, I think I have not succeeded. :rotfl: you'd make a good politician, using four words to avoid using one!....dinner will be on the road. Pack plenty of kitchen roll--doubles up as napkins & plates--& one of those warning triangles to let other cars know you're there--& a hi-vis vest...:D

So I suspect my final score will be 6/8 NSD. But my first month as a full DFW, so next month will be better :p
I am sooo sorry Karma :o..Pup had me up around 3 this morning & it was gone 5 before I fell asleep & had to be up by 6:30; sometimes I curse my warped humour :(
Six nsds are an amazing achievement tho :T & like many of us, I suspect this first month has been an eye-opener in just how easy it is to spend money without really thinking about it.

To folk looking forward to days away, I hope you have the break you are hoping for & come back home safe, sound & soothed :p We are/were thinking of a bbq with our immediate neighbours this week-end & had said Sat, then if wet we've still got two days left, but the weather isn't looking good at all. I'll have to pop next door for a
[STRIKE]cuppa[/STRIKE] final decision in a bit, once she's got the littlies off to school & then it may be a spender for me. I've got all my vouchers & empties for tonight & a pre-paid access-all-privvies when I went shopping t'other day so no-one can refuse us entry anywhere. I'd like to see the bouncers try & stop a herd of *hormonal NSDers on a freebie bash--King Canute & the Tide just popped into my mind, along with a line of chocolate teapots :rotfl:Got me waders waxed & now they glitter like a disco ball on HRT & have typed out the Caledonian phrase book so kindly resourced on these pages, so apart from a quick bath.gif & brsh1.gif I think I'm ready to parr-teh! And if anyone sees my tuppence tonight can you take a photo please, as the last one was a little fuzzy :(
NB.* Any hormones will be shared around menfolk too, as it's not PC to leave them out.

I have tho, clocked up another nsd from yesterday so a big fat 20 for me please Spoon :D

  • Morning, won't get another one for to-day as we are now eating crumbs cos I was so determined not to buy anything extra. So for the month 14, which is for me, a blooming miracle??? Have sent back my degrees in frittering and footering(Scottish version) and my purse has a good going colony of moths starting up, OH thinks I've had a brain transplant.

Right off to prepare the good people of Glasgow for the arrival, Tardis is a great idea as there is already one that I know of in the city centre so can park up next to that.

Funny thing about gibbering policeman hanging on to his ha'penny on news last night, that anything to do with you Mumma??????

    Hi everyone,
I have not had a chance to catch up on all the posts but will do so over the weekend. Looks like loads of targets have been reached and a few smashed... Well done everyone:T. The past three days have been really bad as I slipped off the NSD wagon and spent more than two months' budget in total:mad:. I am actually scared to add it all up but I will bite the bullet and do that tonight. However, there is some good news. Its a NSD day for me today and I have hit my target of 22. I am debating whether I should stick to 22 NSDs for May or whether I should challenge myself and go for 25!
    Have a great day everyone.

  • Hi everyone, declaring today as NSD 16 :j Very pleased with myself and my general restraint. Did go out for coffee and a little shop (all bargains) yesterday though :rotfl:

Think I'll try 16 in May although we have 6  close family birthdays. Shall do my best though.

    Hello Ladies!

Sorry haven't been posting / updating much. Have just been busy and also sulking due to my lousy NSD record this month. Have read a little of the thread from the past week but am fairly out of date with everyone's goings on. Will catch up tonight with you all over several wee drams?

Am very excited about our big night out in Glas-gee tonight. It occurred to me though that we have a lot of new people that didn't join us on the Newcastle night out last month...........so after finally choosing my outfit for tonight I thought it would help to post a piccy of myself so you can find me in Georges Square.....

Oh and NSD's.............not been too great this month. I have to confess to having a lousy attitude. I've got 15 out of my targeted 17.......and have spent a wee fortune. Anyway at least our night out will be a No Spend! ;)

    See you guys later!
