Sorry sniggings if you don't feel accepted. I'm sure no-one intends that at all.

All the same, debtinfo et al is correct here.
lol, its amazing that we have members on this form advocating someone paying a family member a debt as long as they don't call the payments just that but call them "gifted" we all know that is a total load of rubbish,if the OP chooses on her own accord to give her mother money out of any surplus then that is one thing,I'm sure the OP could have worked that out her self but to say I'm incorrect saying that a repayment of a loan to a family member is wrong is laughable,I am sure the OP can work out that if she so choose to pay her mother she can be paid back, but this is a forum and we BR get enough stick so to be seem giving someone advice which is clearly against the rules not only is doing the OP a disservice but also this forum, please someone tell me when the rules on paying a family member a debt for a loan after going BR was in this case allowed! the only reason I made a point of this was because I was quoted saying I should have added that she could pay her mother back out of any surplus, this after that point was already made previous to my post,so it didn't need to be repeated by me,I felt that the OP was getting incorrect info so I needed to clear that up,I'm sure her mother will be getting the loan "gifted" back! reminds me off the "I never had sexually relations with that woman" and the semantics that followed, just because you choose to call a loan payment a gift doesn't stop it being a loan repayment if its being given to pay a loan.

sniggings, Shut up, you need to learn before you have the right to get on your high horse.

You said to me the other day that length of time posting matters not, maybe so, but the contacts us old timers have made in that time does.

and trust me, those contacts would say if it was not acceptable.

Your perception, if you follow everything by the letter makes you think you are correct and that is understandable, but that does not make you correct in the real world, as certain issues are not as black and white as you percieve.

You also made the comment i had an issue with my BR, it is clear to me it is you that is having a hard time accepting going BR, i have seen it many times.

The only other explanation is that you are not a BR at all, but a very clever troll, and i have seen many of those too.
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

amazing, you give correct advice, get told your wrong, stick up for yourself, then get told your a troll, and to shut up,the OP was asking about info for her OR interview,so in your "real world" lets tell her it's ok to pay a family member a debt back when we all know it isn't,I don't need to post on here and have 2000 post to be right, wish someone here would get it,it seems that I'm right so I get slagged off,re read the thread and you will see I gave good advice and was only pointing out that when told I too should have repeated advice that was misleading to someone new to BR was only then that this became an issue,it was not of my making,if a troll is someone that sticks up for themselves when it is clear that they are right and others are too blind to see the true of it.

any relies to this please keep a decent tone as we are all adults here so no need to start name calling or be told to shut up.

Sorry sniggings, but in this case I'm afraid you are wrong.

Has nothing at whatsoever to do with postcount or length of time here.

As a former case examiner for the OR debtinfo knows what they are talking about more than any of us.

Amazing how a badly worded reply can be taken completly the wrong way isnt it;)
sniggings, Shut up, you need to learn before you have the right to get on your high horse.I said this not to insult, but because you are makeing youself look foolish by not reading debtinfo's reply, it was said to try to stop you embarrasing yourself further out of concern

You also made the comment i had an issue with my BR, it is clear to me it is you that is having a hard time accepting going BR, i have seen it many times.

Amazing how you read what you want to read, the last too paragraphs where a choice, i did not say you are a Troll, just it was one of two explanations why your posts are so aggresive, personaly i put it down to the first, but intresting you latched onto the second, thats says a lot.

I have to apologise to the OP here, my initial advice was given with the best intentions and never would I advocate any one breaking the law. Because of this I asked DI to have a look at my posts and correct me if I was wrong, the last thing I want to do is give someone bad advice, and I would be the first to apologise if I was in the wrong. I just hope Horseypony continues to use the forum, and gain as much knowledge as she can about the implications of BR. This forum is the best out there for helping/advising people in this difficult time. I have not replied before now as I had to go out last night. Anyway hopefully we can now move forward from this.

Amazing that you choose to use the word "amazing" so offend in your reply! is that an unsubtle way of laughing at my use of that word, very grown up of you,you say "shut up" was meant to help me,if that was really the case, then I am sure you could have used a better term,it seems you are someone who likes to imply one thing but say another! you say in the real world things are different,so does that mean I am right but maybe in the real world paying back her mother would have happened but in the rules it isn't allowed? if that is the case then that is what I was saying all along but after it had already been said by dojoman I didn't think it needed to be repeated but dojoman quoted my post repeating it again implying I had forgotten to include that bit of advice,it was only then that I felt I needed to say the reason why i had not agreed to that part of the advice, first it is against the rules to pay a family member back a debt without at least the ORs appovel.and secondly it looks like the forum is giving tips to BRs on how to bend the rules, and which after the OP had already been told it was not allowed on the SOA was something she could have decided to do herself.out of any excess money without any help from us.
