    O the link I gave you also works out your IPA if there is any surplus.....

    ohhhh thanks alot!! I will do it now! Only just managed to log back on. What shall I do about the car my husband drives? Do I account for that too??? And also, (sorry questions questions!!) my mum took out a loan for us about 5 years ago, can I include this as an outgoing????

    You would not be able to include any payment to your mum on your SOA, however you could always pay her out of the surplus if you had enough left over. As the loan is in your mums name it would fall on her to actually pay it and in fact could not be included in your BR.

    if its in her name then you can not inclued it in your BR and no you cant list it on your soa.as its a debt and you cant pay 1 creditor and not the others.

    But if there was enough in her surplus, she could pay her out of that.
