I'm awake, my plan to join you in el vinoville failed miserably Greenbee as I had to ferry teens about and get some catfood so I didn't bother in the end.:(

I'm only just half way down the bottle. And I have one half written paper to show for it. I need 4 papers and two presentations done by the end of the bank holiday...

as for the man situation, I'm prepared to bet it will all end in tears. At the end of the day I know perfectly well how to get what I want in the short term, but that doesn't necessarily make anyone happy. However, one good side effect is that (in addition to the weight loss I'm busy offsetting with red wine) now one person has expressed some interest I've clearly become more interesting to the rest of the world (although that could possibly be the short skirts).

Now... do I do some work... or attempt to sleep after drinking all this wine...:o

oh... and cats can feed themselves you know... if they're really hungry they remember that they're actually wild, untamed killing machines... but only if you aren't on hand with gourmet catfood and milk microwaved to the exact temperature they prefer....

    Morning lovely flyladies,

    Rosepink -hugs.gif
LadyL - smooch.gif Missed you yesterday.
Toots - love.gif - Have a wonderful time with the lovely AnW's and I am really glad you haven't invited Toxic to your confirmation, you are too special to spend time with people who don't deserve you.
Serena - I adore Christy towels and when I had my bathroom done I treated myself to three complete sets so everything always matches.
    Jinkypinks - kiss.gif
    Boddy - hugs.gif
Rach - listen to your body and if it says to nap, then let it nap!
Juliejim - Congrats on becoming an Auntie
Mrs Polkadot - Congratulations! Hope the wedding et al went well.
Holly - big hugs honey and I agree with Toots, he needs to learn there are consequences to everything we do in life.
Sarah - I am glad the move is over and I hope you get settled in soon.
Carlsberggal - I will add your son to my prayers/thoughts every day.

And those who just generally don't look after their health through bad eating/exercise habits, try to motivate yourselves to prioritise it, as you never know what's around the corner.
I agree that it is important to look after yourself but I do also think that we all have our own paths to follow. As you so rightly pointed out, we never know what is around the corner and if it is our time to go then I don't think there is a lot that we can do. My father smokes non stop, has spent most of his life single handedly propping up the JD import business and still drinks more than they say is healthy for you and yet at 72 and after a thorough MOT with the Dr this week, the only thing they could find wrong with him was high cholesterol. Seems unfair really when someone like Sandy who is young and relatively fit and healthy should be so ill now. Thank you for the updates too, and I hope she stays in hospital and doesn't leave before they want her to. Send her big Diva hugs please.
Loved the compulsory extra for today but that is one I do every day anyway. I miss singing for an audience though - the cat just isn't as appreciative. Maybe I should throw cat treats at her as I sing so she looks interested at least...giggle.gif
Hope everyone has a good day. With love, light and hugs

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.
  • So my lists today are:
Feed the cat at least twice catmilk.gif
    Brush the cat
    Sort and delete 20 emails
    reply to emails
    feed tadpoles
    Clean bathroom sink

    Extras

Post on Suttons blog - forums done, but not blog
    Plant lily corms in tub.
Easter gifts for the kids - find inspiration
Pot up Cherry Tree if it stops raining
    Frogcity
    sign up for O2
Look at second hand mobile phones as mine keeps switching itself off.
    Make Easter card for mum?
    Do compulsory extra!

head%20cold.gif Hope anyone feeling poorly feels better today.

    .

Just be careful with the old flame Greenbee. You need to ask yourself if you want him to be that firm and reliable friend again possibly for the rest of your life. Or do you want to chance not having that by going too far too fast?

We have sunshine this morning and fortunately it's not too cold. But it's not particularly warm either!
