carlsberggrannan (((hugs))) babe - I know how you are dreading this - like all the service parents -unfortunately he is doing what he wants to do and you wont change that - God bless him and keep him safe for you and TAG's bruv, FFP's DSS and all the other lads and lasses out there.

piggers thats brilliant that DS3 likes his room - what a relief for you. remember you promised to rest once you got his room done!!! I would go for a mirror!
Triker - exciting to be getting new windows but I am seriously worried about what work you will have to do in preparation - I do not want you exhausted!!!! You only need to make access to the windows - you dont have to do major clearing out of the rooms - it will give you the chance for more decluttering and its another step towards the bedroom haven!!!
Greenbee thanks for being a star and forwarding our messages to sandy- it has taken a lot of your time and we really appreciate it.
Please send my love to sandy - we are all holding her in our thoughts and wishing her and her family well.
I have to agree with piggers - Sandy none of us like being in hospital but if they are trying to resolve your problems then please be patient honey and stay a bit longer - there are at least people about should you need them and it can be very miserable at home when you have a major problem - remember how alone you felt before this happened ? Once you know what you are dealing with please please ask for support and keep asking until you get it - you cant handle this on your own. (((hugs)))

I must say that to my OH. He used to work as a carpet shop delivery driver and used to help the boys with the fitting. You'll know I still have to pay someone to do it as he tells me it's a big job. Wallpapering on the floor:rotfl::rotfl:

Wooooooooooooohooooooooooooooo !!! right spill the beans we want all the details and we promise not to tell another soul :D;)
Someone I was very close to in my 20s but is 15 years older than me. I completely cut him out of my life about 10 years ago along with a lot of other people to deal with some toxic friends. And walked back in again a month ago... We're re-establishing boundaries.

Age is only a number.. happiness is far more important!

Are those boundaries closing in? ;)

Oh for goodness sake... stop playing games.. invite him round and test run the man... see if he is worth your interest already lol

OH suggested 'Can you help me with this clasp?' and 'do you like this underwear/ I bought it specially!'

So pleased to hear you're getting rid of your toxic friends... you've got limited time and energy so spend them on the people who matter :D

I know NOW that the age doesn't matter - but when I was 19, those 15 years seemed a huge deal... and I think the boundaries are working out nicely thanks... but I'm trying not to over-analyse what may well be drunken ramblings...

There are a few little details to deal with... like he isn't currently single... and although we were close I'm not sure we were that close (although I get the impression now that this might have been down to me)... BUT he has always been a stable and important influence in my life until I !!!!!!ed off in a very childish manner (incidently abandoning him when he probably could have used the support)... There are bridges to build - I'm working on them and then it's up to him how far he wants to take things. However i will NOT get involved while he is still with someone else as I've been there before and it just doesn't work out...

Alternatively there is the option of just using this as an opportunity to deal with the biological clock problem... definitely worth mugging for the genes :p

    You're obviously well suited... :p:p:p

I might possibly manage to start with 'I need a hug' next time I see him... I don't think I'm quite as fast a mover as you are...

I do wonder whether he'll be quite so sure that he should have sent those texts when he wakes/sobers up... the misspelling gives away the fact that there was drink involved... I have, however, made sure my responses leave the door wide open... but can also always be explained away by the bottle of wine I mentioned I was working my way down in an attempt (failed) to get some work done. I MUST get some work done tomorrow...
