Afternoon, many thanks for the update Greenbee. So sorry its not good news, unfortunately the power of flylady only extends so far:(
Huge hugs to Sandy and her family, praying they have the strength to get through this. xx

Not a huge amount of flying done, just a couple of loads of washing, an S&S of the kitchen, emptied and refilled DW, cleared the hall and hoovered including taking the tools over the skirting, made a big batch of chilli...

lol, thinking about it i say not a huge amount of flying done, and it isnt, but if hubby did those few bits and pieces he'd expect a medal:rotfl:And i'd never hear the end of it for days. Ho hum.

no progress on flying here :( feeling very CBA!! Hopefully will get level 1 done at least.. :o

Taking my DD to see our chicks after school - she breaks up tomorrow. She's very excited about it! She understands that I want them for meat and eggs, but then thought about it very carefully and said " please can there be one that you don't kill, mummy? and can that one be mine??" awww bless!!!:p

Turns out MIL isn't coming now.. she'd rather go to my BILs house.. can't work out if I'm happy or irritated... ;)

LW - not weird at all, the world would be very dull if we were all the same!

  • Thanks for the update Greenbee.
Sandy my lovely - I'm so sorry the news isn't good, get all the help and support you can from your family and the hospital. We are all here for you, cheering you on from the side lines. Much love to you and yours xx
Soappie - hope you have heating
LW - I agree with the others, we shouldn't be all the same because we are the same species. Neither because we are ladies should be be expected to have maternal feelings.

Sat at work with a mega serious case of CBA, I keep swearing everytime the phone rings as I DON'T want to answer it and be all happy and cheery when all I want to do is go home!! LOL

I'm afraid the news from Sandy isn't good. I'm not sure what it is, as she hasn't been clear, but I suspect that she's not ready to put it in writing yet.

I was wondering whether one of the flyladies who is in a similar position (you know who you are) might be willing to talk to her about coping strategies and the support available. She's clearly having a hard time holding things together, and I can't begin to imagine how she feels, although I know some of you know only too well.

As for the rest of you, anyone who is avoiding the GP because symptoms are too embarrassing, or who doesn't want to cause a fuss, or doesn't like tests - please take this as a warning and deal with whatever the problem is. And those who just generally don't look after their health through bad eating/exercise habits, try to motivate yourselves to prioritise it, as you never know what's around the corner.

Thanks Greenbee. So sorry to hear the news isn't good. Sending loads of hugs and coping vibes to Sandy.

I agree totally with your last paragraph Greenbee. I've never been one to hide from things and there's something niggling me at the moment which I need to get sorted. It's probably nothing, but due to the huge demands on my time I've been putting it off....time to make that appointment.

On a flying note, I've done very little apart from sorting through the two feet (and I kid you not) of papers on my desk. I'm now a bit more organised and have quite a bit pile of things to do. But, the filing is now sorted ready to go - guess what I'll be doing later on then...

Off in a moment to collect DD from school, then onto Mr T's to do the week's shop. Usually go on a Weds am, but went to pick up some hanging baskets that I was lucky to get from someone on Freecycle.

Sending loads of hugs to everyone who needs or wants one.

    Take care all

I have been over to our music library, did a quick bit of research over there and have brought 7 books back over. Will be taking a few on holiday and doing half an hour ish a day to keep on top of it, I am glad OH understands! Got an appointment in town in an hour, ironing and then study.

Greenbee thanks for the updates, please keep giving our thoughts to Sandy, she probably needs all the positive vibes possible at the mo, I am thinking of her x
