So... another thing to add to the list of benefits of not having children... does it mean that I need to make sure I'm as fit as possible before I contemplate it, or is it best to avoid pregnancy if I don't want to have to wear opaque tights for the rest of my life  (saying that, I'm currently wearing opaques for work... bright purple doesn't look so good if it's sheer :p)

I found my legs stayed fine after pregnancy BUT the little [STRIKE]leeches[/STRIKE] angels turned my normally curly hair straight - I fed them myself and after 3 months my hair straightened ... both times! Also, how can I put it, my top half (which was never much to speak about) isn't as good as it was. Luckily DH is a leg man ;)!!

Oh, by the way, Wednesday all done please Toots xx

Mmm well I went up the loft to find our bag for the weekend (it's not up there!) and came down with 3 large bags of baby clothes!

Sorted into boy and girl types and the girl stuff into age. The boy stuff is going on freecycle and the some of the girl stuff will be washed dried and taken to the new Granny's later today :D will wash and take the rest some time in the nest week or so.

So decluttering that I hadn't factored in lol

WM and TD contents swapped over
TD contents folded, just 1 shirt to iron.
Tile cutter put in garage when I went to get the steps out

Now off to see if I put the weekend bag in W's room and then lunch.

Thank you again to everyone on this thread..... I have very few friends in the real world and those I do have I see rarely. I'm not complaining. I don't feel lonely and have grown to enjoy being on my own (well, as 'on my own' as I can be with husband, 3 boys, 2 dogs, 4 chickens, 6 ferrets and dozens of fish!!). I'm quite content with my life. Gosh, I'm rambling now..... anyway, what I'm trying to say is, well,

i realised after i had the third that I had run out of knees/hands! Mind you 3 caesarians in 3 years was a bit much......and for a long time I wanted another one!

After I had no 2 my mum gave me the 'well you've got 2 so any more will be harming the planet!' speech!!!!! Just over a year later I had to ring and confess......she was shocked....(not as shocked as I was...!!!!:eek:)

Actually.. we need approximately 2-3 children PER ADULT in order to provide the necessary level of tax income for pensions when we are old due to the aging population.. and you can tell your mum I said so.

And I had 3 sections in just under 4 years.. and MAJOR reconstructive abdominal surgery.. and spent 2 years with a leaky bowel.. how I am not dead noone has quite figured out.

I managed to S&S the cloakroom, fill the DW, S&S the kitchen, take out the recycling, dyson downstairs, get some stewing beef and bread out of the freezer and make some jelly for later. An extra 700 steps, woo hoo.

It looks a lot better but I need to do something about the living room which is getting cluttered, and more on the Playroom.

The wind has really picked up here - bitterly cold outside.

No varicose veins for me....its just the stretchmarks, saggy boobs and piles you have to worry about!!! TMI I know, sorry. ;):p But they are worth it...honest!

I have put a wash on and that's about it so far. Am going to study for a few hours while the girls are at my mum's.

Thanks for the update on Sandy, Greenbee. Just popped on to check how she was doing really. Please let her know my continued thoughts and prayers are with her.

Hi to everyone else too and a hug for Kaz for whatever's (or whoever) is bothering you. See you later.

I don't have varicose veins, piles or saggy boobs (it is a myth pregnancy does this.. it is mainly genetic and caused by lack of proper supportive bras) I do have stretch marks, but they are only on the very tops of my thighs and a few on my boobs.. so we aren't all hideously manled after having children!! :p

Well you're just about managing to break even for you, KH and OH and shucks - I was going to ask if we could count some of yours to make up our shortfall, you know like carbon off-setting?

And with the consequences, not sure whether to be in awe, or shock :D you must be indomitable (sp?).

Have done absolutely no flying, in fact anti-flying, wasted whole morning and now feel frantic about things to do between now and 2pm (school break up time) and STILL CBA to do any of them...feeling low...fed-up...
