Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One

    Level Two
    Level Three
    Extras
    • Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be
    • Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames
Compulsory Extra.. - Done - and it wasn't pretty!!!

Attacked the bathroom in my HHC as can be seen, now need to be down here clearing the carp from the desk area and so some filing too. Doesn't help DH has dumped a lot of his stuff here (a microscope he bought on ebay which you can plug into the computer and various other carp).

Am waiting to hear today re me speaking to headmistress at DD's school re the dinner lady.

Rachel, how awful about the bus, I hope everyone is OK.

Rach, the extreme tiredness goes with the territory - you are growing a person!! It will ease up but I remember I had to go and have a sleep as soon as I got in from work when expecting both times.

Pigpen, get chooks - you won't regret it!

Greenbee, killer legs eh?!!! DH is always trying to get me to wear a skirt - now I don't work in an office any more it is very rare it happens (apart from when I want to get into DH's good books for something ;) ) Thanks so much for passing on all the updates from Sandy - please send my love. Still praying for her.

Soappie and Triker, hope you're feeling better today my loves ((((hugs)))).

Dorastar and Helen Jelly, hope your children feel better soon - D&V is NOT a good mix

Best go; DH's uncle will be calling me to pick him up from the medical centre soon and I need to make the most of my kid and DH free time (DD on inset day tomorrow before the Easter holidays). It's so quiet being here on my own .... lovely!

Get your DSs to fish out the hair & gunk with a crochet hook :p:D. Try mixing bicarb with salt & cream of tartar, pouring as much down as you can, then pour a jug of boiling water down. Leave for an hour then rinse thoroughly with cold water. Or try soda crystals and boiling water...

Messages from sandy - she's OK (I guess it's all relative!) but tired and due to see the doctor soon. She really appreciates all your messages and says thank you to everyone.

Thanks for the crochet hook idea. Why did I not think of it? The shower that is hairy is the one DSs use and they all have really short hair! cyclingyorkie you are so right about young people shedding hair.

    HHC finished
WM emptied and next wash on
    DW emptied
    Dryer emptied and folded
All clean clothes for sorting deposited in DS3s room as most of it is his.
Soda crystals and hot water in the shower drain!
Chooks fed, watered and 8 pheasants shooed away. It is no wonder we get through so much chicken feed.
    3 eggs collected
Dog poo picked up off floor in playroom behind a chair. Yesterdays, I would say, when I was out. Poor dog. I will be having words with DSs.

Now to clean and disinfect the floor. After a quick cuppa.

They aren't killer legs... it's just that I work in a very male dominated world, and most of the other women seem to think that it is necessary to dress like men  so they can be very effective ;). Hopefully they will improve as I do more running... and the effect will improve too :D

good day so far then :p:p:p

Had a shock - my reminder told me I had an 11am meeting that I was unaware of... scrabbled around for my headset etc, then looked at the call and it was a hold from last week. Checked with the scheduler and the client still hasn't got back to confirm.

Suppose I should do some work now I've put some treatment on my poor dry nails :)

greenbee - Thanks for the Sandy update. Running has improved my legs a lot - having babies didn't. Varicose veins and bigger feet........
kazw - hope your day improves.
poohbear - sounds like you are not having fun, don't over do it.
dusty - hope your DS has a lovely birthday and the courier does arrive in time.

It is 11.15 and I am still not dresssed :p. It is still raining and the boys don't want to go out.

I am going to get dressed and then do a rapid rescue HHC at 11.30 if anyone wants to join me. Not aiming for stars this week but I do need to at least get the dailies done.

I am trying to keep stopping for a rest. But I will belatedly join you for a HHC as I still need to mop playroom floor. Actually it is no longer a playroom, it is my study, office, workroom, exercise room.

It is a good thing I bought some zoflora yesterday. Must have been a premonition of the mess to come.

So... another thing to add to the list of benefits of not having children... does it mean that I need to make sure I'm as fit as possible before I contemplate it, or is it best to avoid pregnancy if I don't want to have to wear opaque tights for the rest of my life  (saying that, I'm currently wearing opaques for work... bright purple doesn't look so good if it's sheer :p)

They're old enough to clear up after themselves. And if they are hanging around getting under your feet, make them work. And then ban them from your space.

ETA - I live on my own... so where does all the sodding laundry come from???
