Hope you've all had a nice day..its been sunny here for a change so we've been out and tackled the bog that passes for our garden!!..oh and eaten loads of chocolate, the amount of easter eggs we've got is shameful being as there are no children in the house!!

I want to see at least 2 things that are fabulous in our life right now!! There has been a lot of unhappiness so now we can all be Pollyannas and be glad about something!!

My OH, family and cats…and we are all very lucky to be in relatively good health, in the grand scheme of things..
I’m very lucky and live in the countryside with the beach very close

Wipe over all the fluffy electricals.. don't electrocute yourself please!!
Wipe and water the plants

1. Finish/do a small DIY job
2. Clean out a cupboard.. any cupboard

Compulsory Extra..

My beautiful children, who, despite their experiences in their short lives so far never cease to amaze me with their love, compassion and sweetness...and loudness

My big, rough, gruff husband who has a heart of gold, awesome intelligence and worships the ground I walk on


Where I live....it's small, desparately needs a new kitchen & bathroom and decorating, but I still love it, and we live in the middle of nowhere so it's easy to be antisocial , but on the outskirts of a town so I can get what I need easily & quickly, and then go back to being antisocial


I seem to have few needs and wants so it's easy to feel content..


My MSE ways have finally rubbed off on DH and we can actually live on our income and not the credit cards and still have enough cash to cover emergencies and little treats (after years of panic this one cannot be underestimated)



Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area Done

• Wash your bathroom mats etc
• Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be
• Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames

Strip bedding, wash sheets and remake the bed.. BEFORE BEDTIME!!
Level Two
Sort through one cupboard of clothing - I have boxes under our bed that are covered in dust & haven't been opened for over a year - in true Flylady style I intend to dust them, open them and fling the innerds....tomorrow....honest - OK, OK, this week then
Level Three
Sort through one box of junk - our room isn't big enough for a box of junk, apart from the aforementioned boxes

Extras

1. Do a small job you have been putting off forever - boxes under the bed???
2. check all the smoke alarms are working as they should!
3. Fill a binbag for charity shop (or the bin if you prefer!)

Sort through a cupboard.. any cupboard, could even be a kitchen one!

Wash any soft furnishings that need it.. or the duvet!

4. sort the shoes, coats and bags! - been putting this off...keep looking at it in the hall...I can see it now....smirking at me....[STRIKE]give it a go tomorrow....[/STRIKE]this week

Monday ~ Kitchen and Utility room
Level One
Sweep and mop floor
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Level Two
Clean out fridge
Clear and wipe table.. clean cloth!
Level Three
Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles.. scrub that greasy grout!
Clear window sills of gibble and wipe them before replacing back the necessary stuff and finding new homes for the unnecessary stuff!


Extras

1. Clean light shades and blinds
2. Wipe over oven and hob!

[STRIKE] Wipe sticky grotmarks from the walls, doors and paintwork[/STRIKE] Did the tops of all the upstairs door frames AND the lightswitches

Upstairs is DONE now... although I may sort the bedding/towels under the spare room bed later on if I'm feeling energetic. Possibly not before 8pm though... Only one star but LOTS of hard work. Off to move the odds & ends and dyson downstairs to continue sorting out while thinking about supper. The recycling bin is full... the ordinary bin less so, but more so than usual

Think I'll tackle the living room next... I'm more likely to succeed there... it was further from the dust

Hi All

Hope you have all had a lovely Easter Sunday, it was peeing down with rain here so I done our easter egg hunt in the house and we have decorated our eggs, we will roll them tomorrow before DH goes to work no matter what the weather is.

My cat is sick at least twice a week but today she was sick A LOT on my rug that I just got at Christmas :mad: and I think its because she had full fat milk this morning instead of her normal semi-skimmed I (she gets a wee drop of milk in the morning) and now the living room smells like baby sick, the rug is tiny thin fibres so not one that can be soaked, I have put shake and vac and everything on but it still stinks, any ideas????

macpep - a weak solution of biological washing stuff? It eats the enzymes or something. I got some value stuff this week because one of my [STRIKE]cats [/STRIKE]dogs keeps widdling in the dining room.
