    Happy Easter folks!:easter_os

Have discovered next door but one have new garden pets - bees - there are 2 hives in the garden and i saw one of them in the full regalia this morning!

My dd's would say that it explains why there seem to have been so many bees recently.....

These particular neighbours keep chickens - not a problem...except when they have a cockerel or two! Then life gets fraught...and sleep gets interrupted and the council's noise team get involved too!:o

Looking forward to Jonathan Creek tonight - with my first glass of wine since shrove Tuesday!

Thanks for the advice but we have tried what your OH suggested already:( He has tried fixing the baton to the wall with 4" screws but they aren't long enough:eek: so he has given up and we are going to get some blinds fitted instead. Shame as I like my curtains from the previous house.
There should be battens regularly spaced behind the plaster board, so if you can locate these, you can then screw the batten for the curtain rail into them (I've just had to work with the builder to do this when re-installing the wall units in the utility room, and apparently the muppet who put the plaster board up didn't space them as close together as they should be, which meant more battens on the outside to fix the units to...)

:j:jPip and Pandora have arrived; they are absolutely delightful little dogs, and it's going to be a pleasure looking after them. Pip is kipping in the hallway, and Pandora is lying on the sofa next to me as I type!

We had a lovely time at the opera last night, but oh boy am I tired today! I'm supposed to make pasta for our dins - goodness knows where I'm going to get the energy. Pity I don't live closer to AnWs Mum - I could scrounge some of Miss A's lasagne for us!:rotfl:

Mr LW went and did the shopping at the Farmers Market on his own this morning, as I didn't feel up to going - £53.70!!!:eek::eek: But is does include two big bags of bread flour and a month's supply of cheese, and we do go through a lot of cheese.

Well, enjoy the rest of your day, folks. I'm going to ask Pandora to budge up and try and grab 40 winks, I think.
Great o hear your guests are behaving. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time with them, but be careful not to wear yourself out. It sounds as if Mr LW had a good time at the farmers' market - I didn't go to ours today as I actually don't NEED anything... I can wait till next time to stock up on fruit juice...

Right... better stop hanging around here and get moving... :o

Bring the dog round here and take me for a walk too? :D:D (actually, the dog could take me for a walk, and you could do my flying... even better ;))

Well done on the CV - don't forget that dog walking also counts as exercise (despite all the standing around while they sniff about in the undergrowth)
