HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE:j
Thanks to whoever it was posted about eggs last night cos I'd forgotten to do the egg hunt for the kids so managed to get it done before midnight! They had a fab time running and screaming around the house finding them.
Been to church and ds (3) nodded off in the sermon. Unfortunately he woke up at the end of the service and was extremely sick all over me, so have had my second shower of the day and am in a nice clean outfit. He is still being sick - and hasn't even eaten any choccy yet so looks like he's got a tummy bug
Plan is to keep washing sicky clothes till they're all done then see what the rest of the day bringsMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I think everyone listen to him because of the way he 'spoke', as a youngster you could never forget that and the wonders of then modern technology, I think that is what made me listen.fedupandskint wrote: »as if

I have had a short walk across two fields and helped DS1 to tidy our hall which is part builders yard and part laundry room. We have church this afternoon so the young strong ones are out for a long walk.

Hello everyone
Sounds like everyone is having a lovely easter Sunday. Hope Toots and company are having a blessed time especially. I'm in PJ's today too, but determined to work on my list. I realised I have two stars so far this week :j Im thrilled with that result considering its my first full week back.Have spotify going on the lappy in my bedroom listening to Jersey boys while I put the floordrobe into the wardrobe
Opened DH's wardrobe to discover there were NO work shirts in it (he owns about 21 of them) they were all on the floor.

But I changed the bedding so that I could put my three crates on it and use it as work surface
So let's see how Im doing thus far:

Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter floors[/STRIKE] had DH take away a whole crate of rubbish aready

Tidy away floordrobe/chairdrobe and top of chest of drawersdrobe! Still busy
Sort through one cupboard of clothing in conjuntion with above as there were no clothes in DH's wardrobe to start
Level Three
[STRIKE]Sort out the airing cupboard or linen cupboard.. what can go? What do you need to keep[/STRIKE]?
wash any curtains/nets that need it
Sort through one box of junk
Extras
- [STRIKE]Do a small job you have been putting off forever[/STRIKE] Bedroom in itself has been ignored for at least 5 weeks

Hello!
I seem to have quite a list of cleaning to do!
Today I have walked hounds, brushed hounds, showered me and pampered me, done some washing and now DW is on.
Leaving soon to see parents................................I'll be shattered when I get back so may not see you all until tomorrow.
Am loving my 5 star award! It is so me!
Enjoy your day everyone,
1 stepIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Afternoon all
Hex - the film of Howl's Moving Castle is good and the book is good, but they're not the same. If you are particularly fond of the book you may not want to watch the film. I really enjoyed The Merlin Conspiracy.
Two loads of washing dried outside. I finished getting it in just as we had a few spots of rain but it's fine again now.
Roast dinner done and all cleared away, I've even done the oven and hob.
I polished in the living room this morning and vacuumed right through downstairs.
DH and DS watching cycling. After watching the Grand Prix. Thank goodness for computers.
Hope Toots day is going well.0 -
Happy Easter everyone:easter_os
Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
ALL DONE SO MAY I HAVE A STAR FROM HOWEVER IS ON DUTY. THANK YOU.
Toots - hope the day has been great for you.
Compulsary extra from Tuesday - I am very lucky to have a great husband and two lovely intelligent sons. We live in a nice house in a lovely area and don't have any money worries. I have a well paid job and I have lovely colleagues in my present work location and I have a great jobshare partner so it works fantastically for both of us. We have some really great friends top share our leisure time.
Pigpen - you are right it is good to step back sometimes and look at the blessings you have in your life.

Morning all
late posting because I broke the internet...
DS 'helpfully' tried to guess the username and passord for the modem and I didn't register it wasn't right so told him it was saved...
eventually he told me he had been trying to guess it so correct username and PW found and here we are
I have been 'slashing and burning' in the front garden and have mowed the (what I call) lawn. Cedric across the road (bowling green, his) would not care to see my patch and his sharing the name lawn - it is awful, mine...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
The sun is still out here, but plenty of grey clouds around, so it could change any minute.
Eggs found (DS2 has not eaten much chocolate yet - strange)
Butterfly buns made and most of them distributed (I tried one after my lunch - they're yummy)
MIL visited
DS1 decluttered to bed (his 'sleep'-over didn't involve much sleep, I think)
DH decluttered to the club
Friend down the road visited
DS2 decluttered to friend next door
Lunch eaten
I feel cold, so I've made myself a nice cuppa and just caught up with the thread. I wasn't going to do much today, but I really can't ignore this mess. I'll tidy and clean a spot to stack DS2's eggs, then I'll do a few jobs in the kitchen, sorting the worktops (so I can mess them up again with the fish pie later on).
Fedup - well done for dragging yourself out of your low mood. Your plan for today looks really nice.
I hope everyone's Easter Sunday stays pleasant and peaceful.0
