That BD is back biting my bum - why can't it leave me alone? Feel like running away and even told DH I should move back to my old house I rent and he could stay here with the kids. I know it's stupid talk but I can't help myself. Feel so alone.
You know you have no reason to feel alone while you've got us here to talk to. And your DH and kids NEED you. They'd miss you if you ran away or moved out, but trust me the BD would follow you. You need to kick it out, and work with your family so that they can help you keep it out. Being on your own won't make it any better.

Now... did you do Pigpen's pollyanna task? If you did, look at it again. If you didn't, then start thinking about it. And SMILE :D:D as even a fake smile releases endorphins...And then do the singing... that really does get the happy hormones going....:rotfl:

I've cleaned the bathroom :j:j. Like the other rooms, the floor needs a really good down-on-hands-and-knees scrub, but it'll only get that if I manage to get everything else done... It's a little depressing that everything is so filthy, as I'd got it all to the stage where it was manageable before the builders arrived in February, and now it feels like it's back to square one.

Think I might head off to bed... I really hope I'll manage to get up at a sensible time tomorrow.:o:o

Bother. Just seen that I need to do a 6 mile walk tomorrow, 4 miles on Sunday and a run on Monday (it'll have to be in the morning as the gym is closed in the afternoon).

Not sure when I'm going to fit the flying in round that... let alone all the work I need to catch up on :o
  • Hi all,

my flying today at home has been zilch - but did manage a fair bit after a children's activity morning I helped with this morning - children + icing + sprinkles = much hoovering, wiping and general flying!!

tomorrow I want to catch up on mount washmore, and find my desk - weather looks grotty so will play inside!

    laters

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Hi all just popping in as I'm having a little rest. Just chased DS2 back to bed, he's been downstairs playing on FB games as he has a tummy upset.

Been packing and decluttering ready to go away Monday as we're out all day Sunday at one of the car things, I can't wait to go away but can't seem to get into holiday mode. Think it's being skint and knowing this year we'll have less holidays. At least this one the site is free.

LR and bathroom are done this week, my rooms upside down as is the boys, kitchen isn't great but better than it was. I'll have to get back into flying more often after Easter as it's slipping so badly.

Hugs for those who need one, BD chasers for those who need that too xxxx
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I am sooooooooooooo jealous ................. wow!!!!

.............. *froddy runs off to check where they are playing and wonders how she missed this * Love them - saw them loads when I was a student and again about 2 years ago when they played loads of old stuff I never thought I'd hear live again!

I am being VERY lazy today - think the end of term has just caught up with me :o

I will do better next week!

Did you find it Froddy? Its the 21st Anniversary of the Hup album tour..thats making me feel really old now! They're going to lots of places around the country from mid April to the end of July.
They did the 8 Legged Groove Machine tour last year which was fab!!

Hmm better add something about flying...dinners been eaten, washing up done & I'm now decluttering a glass of wine..sorry to those with no wine tonight!

When I started to post on this site, a very wise flylady told me to put work first (as it pays the bills) and to fit in the flying as and when. I'm ashamed to say that just when work is most urgent I'm tempted to do it the other way round.
Schedule all the work and as much exercise as you can fit in, then use some of the leftover time for flying. Are there any rooms you don't need to use for a bit? Close the door and ignore them for the time being. Feels like I'm teaching grandma the proverbial, as I don't think I'm telling you anything you don't know already. Following through with it is something different alltogether. I'm still working on that one.
I admire you for keeping up with the exercise regime. I find it difficult to get on with any work at all, flying or otherwise, when I've been active. Especially if it involved fresh air.
    Good luck with your challenge.

Mumof2 - sorry to hear you're feeling low. Wish I could help all of you with BD issues.
