20.16 Up because cat is foaming at the mouth and dashing under my bed. Further investigations reveal that she has been licking up toothpaste left in the bathroom sink.

Relieved that a) it's not the first UK case of rabies this century and b) that the blob in the sink means she hasn't been chewing on the family toothbrushes

    I have done it! :j:j:j

I have boned three birds (and each one is intact!), made two lots of different stuffing and assembled a three bird roast from scratch! Including the sewing up bit! It took ages!

And Yes, I've taken photos but I'm too knackered to post them today. I shall wait and do the final "after" bit once it's cooked in the morning and before we all eat it
    :T:T:T:TWell done soappie :T:T:T

I've achieved something far more mundane... I've cleaned the downstairs loo... and following polka's example unscrewed the loo seat and took everything apart as well, so it is all now spotlessly clean and sparkling (apart from the floor, which needs a scrub and will be done with the rest of them. I'm behind on what I'd planned for today (bathroom should have had a deep clean too), but at least I'm making progress of sorts.

Just cooking supper, then need to decide whether to keep on with the cleaning (the woodstove glass needs a scrub too) or to relax with a DVD and then have an early (ish) night.

Polka - you'll have to meet up with rach and push prams together. She'll soon get you fit!

We've just bought tickets to see The Wonderstuff later this month..! I'll be able to reminisce about my student days!

.............. *froddy runs off to check where they are playing and wonders how she missed this * Love them - saw them loads when I was a student and again about 2 years ago when they played loads of old stuff I never thought I'd hear live again!

Just woke up...:o fell fast asleep, feel slightly better, been so drained today, combo of work, being upset and a bit of a Lyme attack....:(. Hopefully resting as much as I have has helped my body recover.

    JoJo, loved your post.:D

Well done Soappie, I'm very impressed, deboning birds isn't on my radar yet but I'm highly in awe of you...:T:T:T

Boddy, hugs for you and your DD, what an emotional draining day for you and out of the blue too. I hope her stepmother receives as much painfree treatment as possible. xx
