PS would anyone be interested in a meet - Milton Keynes area or surrounding towns in late May/early/June when the weather is lighter and the evenings are longer, if people are interested I'll look out somewhere central for us to meet [no disco's though!!]

Could be... would have to be a weekend though, as its too far to trek after work AND get home in time to be up at the crack of dawn again... I'll be looking for opportunities for long walks then too... During May I need to do the following at weekends:

    1st May - 14 miles
    7th May - 16 miles
    18th May - 16 miles
    22nd May - 20 miles
29th May - 5 miles (only because the following Sunday is 26 miles!)

I appear to have started on the bathroom... what on earth possessed me to let the plumber install a chrome towel rail? It just needs extra polishing...

    Hi All,
So Sorry i havent been on for the last few days and missed the posts re Sandy.
Greenbee. Please pass on my thoughts to her and her family. I am sorry i missed the other night but to be honest they have been in my thoughts all week.

Flywise. Please can i claim a friday star!!!!.
It took 3 of us 3 hours today to sort DS1 bedroom. ( I had been working on the thought that he would, at some point, get fed up of the mess but he didnt).
We have got 9 ( I kid you not) bags for land fill and 2 for charity. I also have got 2 loads of washing off his bedroom floor.

I'll join you for this one - it's the start of half term so a good weekend for me.

Or we could combine both of the above and walk somewhere around The Bowl in MK (providing there's no gig that weekend as it gets a bit crowded then!)

    Is it wine o'clock yet?:D

It will be for me, soon - or beer, as I can't make up my mind.
DS2 and I made the malteser tray bake today and DS1 got the job of quality control (self-appointed). He ate a piece in one go (keep telling him he has a big mouth) and was suitably impressed. Thank you for passing on the recipe.

DH is passed out drunk on the couch and after three weeks of drinking he promised he wasn't going to drink this weekend . I really want him to stop, he's not a complete drunk but since I got pregnant he's been binging a bit too much for my liking, although my DB told me today that its not as bad as I think, just that I notice more because I've not had anything to drink in four and half months ?

I hope I am not speaking out of turn and you won't take this the wrong way, but isn't 8pm a bit early to be spark out? I can understand that you are concerned. (Not that my DH is much better. He is rarely drunk, but he does go out a lot. :()
I am being VERY lazy today - think the end of term has just caught up with me :o

I know how you feel. I've achieved much less than I would have done on a Saturday during term-time, and I seem to have been on 'go slow' all day. Be kind to yourself. A colleague and friend swears that tiredness accumulates in the course of the school year, so maybe you just needed the rest.

Pooh and Jue - sorry for the loss of your pets. They had a good life with you and I know you will miss them lots. We lost our two cats a couple of years ago (they'd been with us at least 15 years) and I would quite like another now. Have to get the house sorted first and convince DH that it's a good idea - so I may well be retired by the time I get round to it.
Rose - hope you see light at the end of the darkness soon.

I'm going to check e-bay for wendy houses and then settle down with my book. Good night, all.

MrsChaos not out of turn at all. It's really driving me mad, I did ask him and he said he forgot it was a long weekend and his reason was a work colleague. When I reminded him of his earlier awareness of the easter weekend he apologised and gave me his debit card. My concern is that he's scared of the baby. Although we already have DS, he wasn't around for the pregnancy or newborn stage. He doesnt cope well with getting up with DS on the odd occasion its needed and I think he wonders if I will expect him to get up with me every two hours. I guess all I can do for now is wait and see.

That BD is back biting my bum - why can't it leave me alone? Feel like running away and even told DH I should move back to my old house I rent and he could stay here with the kids. I know it's stupid talk but I can't help myself. Feel so alone.
