I'm obviously paranoid, except they *really* are out to get me  but virtually every one of my best selling lines will be affected. Virtually everything I send is currently less than £1 1st class, but too bulky to be treated as a letter in future. I don't even sell CDs or DVD's just slightly bulky but light items.
I'm really having a rethink here and am actually considering closing my ebay shop as although I do fairly well at the moment hiking up my p and p charges might ruin that.

Suppose there are now lots of rental shops doing home delivery on rentals aswell. Suppose they are doing what any company would and cashing in on it.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

The rental shops though send just the disc so they will qualify as a large letter. A full DVD in it's proper box as would be sold on ebay and sent in a jiffy bag is borderline.

screenselect.co.uk use a clam shell case when posting. this case is slim enough to pass through the 5mm allowed for a regular letter. the actual shell is called a 'slim shell' and has been designed specifically to allow for the royal mail increases. even when screenselect have added the outer packaging it still slips thru the 5mm
as such they will only pay the standard 32p (less probably for bulk postings)0 -

I think you might be surprised what people will pay for p&p if they really want the item. If it costs you 49p now to post it then I presume you charge at least £1.29 now for postage? Try raising the postage to £1.89 this should cover it.0 -

I'd not pay that much for 200, I currently pay £43 for 400 jiffy envelopes.0 -
I agree
I have just paid £15 or so for 600 C0 Jiffy bags, so I suppose I can live with a postal increase, I charge £2.50 p&p, costs 2 first class stamps, so I cannot complain0 -

That does not sound a bad price. Try mass-solutions on ebay as thats where I get mine from, as of yet I can't better there prices.
£15 for 600 C0 is great, where was that from?....although I buy D1 for dvd size.0 -
Viking Direct have a buy 2 get 1 free, BUT you can select any size as your free box, I bought 6 boxes of C0 for £57 delivered, got 3 free boxes of E1, I will sell the E1 on Ebay at a £1 or so less than anyone else, hence the 600 will have cost £15, I could have got 900 C0 for £57, but it made more sense to get the more expensive ones free, I guess if I had the time I could work it so the cost to me is £Nil
