    Under the FAQ's it says:

    8. What about International mail?
None of our International Services, ie. Airmail, Airsure, International Signed For and Surface Mail are affected by the changes.
    Soo
Special Delivery is also unchanged so our postal prices will not be affected :j as we always send by Special delivery,Airsure and International Signed For...

My packages normally cost around £1.52 for First class recorded

Does anyone know if this will be affected?

To me it seemslike the main thing that's going to increase prices is the size factor.

For heavier or larger items, especially boxes, you could consider using Interparcel . They are very reliable, have excellent customer service, and prices start from as little as £8.49! They also have a variety of services, from Next-Day Guarenteed to Next-Day before 09:30am to Saturday Delivery.

Another way could be to try selling multiple items. So instead of just one badge, maybe all badges in a series or set? It'd save you needing to package all individually, plus people like buying sets or series of things.

And thanks for reminding me about packaging. I'm gonna have to restock as I'm all out of brown paper and bags. Got lots of tape though, love it, it's got a lovely smell to it :D

    Cheers and take care.

    Hussein.

You could offer buyers a choice... pay 50p, have no-frills, flat packaging, or £1.00 for tags, cases and bulky stuff.

    Just an idea :)
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Received my guide yesterday, have yet to read through it.

I sent of DVD sized cases, and larger books. I didn't realise it would effect my DVD cases, so thanks for pointing that out Soolin. At the end of the day though, my market is limited and so is my supply. I get my hands on what I can, and if people have to pay a little more to get it to them then they will just need to pay! lol.

At the end of the day - the prices are going to increase for all sellers.

Royal Mail prices for large, heavy items are mostly staying the same. The biggest increases will be for light items which exceed "letter" sizes, e.g. the price of posting a single roll of photographic film 1st class will increase from 32p to £1!
