Why does someone always feel the need to tell everyone that the clocks are to be put

I need reminding, don't buy papers, don't have telly & only listen to the radio in the car. Even I would need to go some to not realise Xmas is happening yet again, year after year. Same with easter although I don't know what date it is this year, as I'm not religious so doesn't have any impact on my life.
Almost exactly what I was going to post! It is what is important in our life that makes us remember, not the frequency of it occurence!
So, I may forget to take the 'green' bag out of the car boot for every weekly supermarket shop, but I did not forget to claim cashback on an extended warranty on the 5th anniversary (to the day).0 -

This happens every six months, a post appears the clocks go forward, six months later the clocks go back.
WHY WHY WHY does someone feel that need to post?
What did that person do before the internet and forums? Telephone everyone?
Another useless post
Jennifer.
Well Jennifer, that reminder will be for people who are not as perfect as you.0
