Week 1 and I'm already overspent by £1.31 - this was because of the multi-pack of chocolate I bought that wasn't on the shopping list. If they'd had just the one bar for sale, I might not have gone over.
So £40 budget, £41.31 spent, brings my running total for the month so far to £41.31 out of £160.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -

Hi all,
nsd yesterday for me on groceries, i will need to get dd whole milk today though, will update sig when i decide what size bottle to get.
I have made a little:o purchase on ebay though, a little present to myself-wont tell you what cos you will laugh at me but im very excited and did get it at a bargain, dh just gone to collect it for me. However this was my own 'pocket money' and i havent used GC pennies.
Im also looking into switching gas and electric, i pay monthly fixed dd the last year we have lived here, but the cold winter saw us use a lot of gas and my payment for gas has more than doubled from May onwards, i dont think its a fair amount really as i was in credit to the gas at my last statement in January, so obviously its the cold weather that put it up, but i dont think that justifies 12 months of double what im paying now, so im having a look around. Im with BG at present, anyone have any recommendations for other suppliers? According to uswitch i have a lot of suppliers available to me, just choosing which one.
Well, off to get baby she has just awoke from her nap, hopefully the rain will stop and we can go for a walk to Mr T round the corner for that milk.
Have a good day everyone0 -

Could you put me down for £380 for April. Did a big shop on Friday (my month starts 26th) and spent £134.10 so running balance is £245.90, but got loads of meat and storecupboard stuff so should just need to top up bread, milk and fresh stuff.
Fingers crossed for April.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
