Hi everyone - haven't been on for a while so have updated my signature.

Needed cat food so bought 2 x 5kg bags of their special diet - cost just over £60  Need it as one of the cats is diabetic - should last about 3 months so will be able to reduce next months GC spend :)

Also had a shop in Mr M - £30.85, spent more than I wanted but got some great whoopsies. Then went to our local market and spent £10.44 on veggies and a huge pack of chicken breasts. The meat man was practically giving it away :j
Have got loads in now so looking forward to lots of NSD and cooking. Made a WW Moussaka today - delish. Have plenty to freeze too

Tomorrow will make a chicken curry and soup.

I don't really make meal plans but plan around what I have got - make more, eat some and freeze the rest.

Keep up the good work everyone - it is great to hear all your tips :T

£2.55 spent in Coop this evening. I needed milk and decided that I fancy fajitas tomorrow, so got a packet of wraps, a bag of onions and a sachet of mix. I have everything else for them. The rest of the onions will also be used to make a big batch of tomato/pasta sauce either this weekend or the following one to go in the freezer.

Small spend of £9.21 in Co-op yesterday, a half price leg of pork which made a lovely roast for tea and should do our lunches for the rest of the week, and milk, bread and veg. Happily still well on target :)
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon ....

    Morning,
Ive decided im really rubbish at this im over budget already and still got over half the month left!!!!!

I could have written this myself :o

I`m doing really badly atm, i had all my reciepts from last week in a little pile and i have been putting off adding them all up :o

I`ve also tidied up and have shoved them into a huge envelope with all the other stuff that i`ve been putting off doing so now they will need to be sorted out from the zillions of others that are in there.

I could scream this month and whats worse is that i don`t feel like i`ve got anything really to account for how much i`ve spent

*Stamps off in a bad mood*

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Week 3 and I spent £41.47. Not as bad as last week, but still an overspend of £1.47. Still, I suppose it's better than the £75 - £80 per week I was regularly spending before.

Am now running at £9.17 over budget into the final week. Let's see if I can bring this one in at £30 or less.
