Ok, So it is 3 sleeps (!) until OH and I get married. We are off to Devon tonight. I have made gingerbread men/women for the favours and am icing them tomorrow (I am also taking extra ingredients for when half of them break!). I have our things laid out on the living room floor ready to pack. Cameras are charging. Have spoken to the photographer to confirm and the 'ladies of the church' who appear to organise everything!!

All I need to do is put fuel in the car and actually pack the bag! It all seems very real all of a sudden...YIPPEEEE!

I am freaking out now about our wedding because of the riots in manchester and salford. They were right behind the shop where my dress is at one point I really hope they didn't get near the venue. I was supposed to be in town yesterday and today buying last minute wedding things and we were supposed to take my little brother there on thursday to buy his suit but god knows when we can go into the centre now it looks like a war zone.

I have my final dress fitting tomorrow and also two of my bridesmaids are having their first fitting tomorrow so I hope they don't need too many alterations!!

I can't believe how fast the time is going and honestly can't believe that in just over 2 weeks i will be getting married :eek:

Went into Manchester today to check on the dress shop and it is completely undamaged thankfully lets hope it stays that way!

Missed your post about the riots last time I was on - it's horrible isn't it! Are you getting married in the city? I'm sure it'll all be cleaned up by then, and I don't think you'll have any problems taking your brother. You must be so relieved they didn't go near your dress shop.

It's so close for all of us now! I kind of don't want it to happen because then it'll all be over!!!

PixieRae - i get married on monday, bit stressed out with it these past 48 hours but only due to family causing problems. just the balloons to pick up over the weekend then all go Monday morning!
