congratulations to all who have been wed this month .. I too only have 8 more sleeps til I become a MRS (27th aug). its all getting very exciting now cant wait :j

Only 5 more sleeps for me Been a mad panic to get it all finished these last couple of days but we are almost there. Got my 'not quite hen do' tomorrow and then all hell breaks loose Monday and Tuesday!

It has flown round primmer and i feel that this week iv hit a high with the planning. All sorted most things paid and out of the way. dress has arrived and altered etc and fits and today is really the icing on the cake for me. The mens suits have arrived from formally your and they all look pretty good to me. Just got to work sat sun mon 12 hour days tues rehersal wed 12 hour days then its nails makeup eyelash extensions waxing brow tinting etc etc.
Friday iv got family arriving from poland got to get them booked into the hotel then its up to the venue for the finishing touches ( home made favors name cards table centre decs table planner etc) then its upon us. saturday .. early rise for me hairdresser coming at 8 makeup coming at 10
Im really giddy now. then leaving here about 12.40 for the 1pm service .
I do keep getting that butterflies feeling every now and then tho but its took a lot of planning ...

Just embrace every moment all you still to tie the knot take your time walk in head high look around and enjoy every moment and capture the look on the faces of your guests that must be one great memory .

Congratulations to all those that have tied the knot so far this month!!!

Well i/we've had a mixed couple of weeks! B2B Had a Hen do fall out, which thankfully resolved itsself, weather forcast for friday not great and we're having an outdoors ceremony! then had a distressed phone call from B2B's chief bridesmaid that her brother has died of a heart attack..... understandbly, may not make the wedding friday depending on funeral arrangements.

On the plus side bridesmaids dresses complete and altered well under budget! final suit fittings complete and ready to go, Brides dress to collect Wednesday. Oh and nearly forgot, the florist came in under budget as well so we've got a few quid left to get each other a gift!!

my heads still up my ar*e trying to get the details sorted which i forgot about. I need ideas of something borrowed and old asap pls. B2B got matching jewelry so dont want to suggest changing any of that. I've asked my M-in-L but as yet not found out. Asked my sister if she still had her garter from when she was married, but her's was borrowed as well lol

MrO that's such a shame about Chief Bridesmaid - hope she can still come and is OK. Something like a wedding could help to lift the spirits in such a situation, but could be too painful.

I have got a garter - that was my something blue! My engagement ring was OH's Mum's, so that's my old - but am struggling with the borrowed also. Thinking of borrowing a brooch to pin on the inside of my dress - as it won't match my pearl jewellery!
