  • Can anyone tell me where I can find the 'use it or lose it' thread? After reading brizzledfw's post, I'm intrigued! Funny how you tend to stick with the same threads.

I am hoping to list a couple of bits on ebay today, that have been hanging around. Once I start listing stuff, I find it hard to stop!!

    Afternoon all,

    Where has the weekend gone?

    So far today I have/will:
    · meals from stores
    · went food shopping but mum paid – bought most things in the basics range and was very aware of the cost of things
    · Online bingo – didn’t win so I closed the screen down….I have enough there for the material for sis in laws wedding outfit so I have to be restrained
    · Money off coupon for WW magazine and stapled it to the front of my card so I actually use it next week
    · Took a flask of coffee to WW meeting this morning so we didn’t pay £4.50 for 2 horrible mugs of dishwater…. must put this money away
    · Called up to find out how much was in virtual sealed pot £124.95…needed to find out as we might need the money for a new car
    · Need to plan what I am eating during the week – must stick to diet as I would like to shift at least a stone before the wedding
    · Found the perfect pair of shoes for the wedding – will wait until I am in town to look at them in the flesh
    · Make sure that I have everything I need for the week at work
    · Filled up the car with cheaper petrol – paid cash!
    · Read newspapers online
    · Need to sow loads of seeds so that we can have free fruit and veg in the summer – courgettes, tomatoes, peas – yum and considering we spend £15 per week on fruit and veg, better for the pocket too!

Think that is about it, take care everyone

Hello everyone, not much from me today I am still recuperating. I have however listened (for a change :o) to freinds and colleagues and phoned in sick for another week. :( I really didnt want to but I have to accept that I am not up to t at the moment . I had to sleep for 2 hours yesterday after making myself a tea of 2 boiled eggs :( Not good when you are used to running round like an idiot all day :o

However after my recent blow out and knowledge that I have been leaking money again I do feel stronger mentally for my debt free wanabee challenge and am feeling once more determined to sort myself out.

    So today I have / will :
    • checked online banking - April will be a challenge but im up for it :o
    • checked items selling on ebay - doing well
    • competitions
    • surveys
    • Nutricious meals from stores - lots if vitamins for me
    • listed a broken computer on ebay - suprising how well junk sells
    • shopping list for tommorow - look for mocs
    • meal plan for week
    • HC x 1
    • light housework
    • look for more items to list
Enjoy what left of your weekend folks

    Hi everyone! :hello:

I hope you're all having a lovely Sunday so far. Sounds like you are all keeping yourselves out of money-spending trouble! Woo hoo!

This weekend has been v MSE for me - parents have been visiting and haven't let me pay for anything! It's my birthday next week so mum took me out shopping for some new clothes and then dad took us out for a lovely meal :D

Picasso - I hope you start to feel better soon. Get yourself a good book and a cuppa and don't do anything too strenuous. You'll be back to normal before long. xx

    Here's this weekend's list:
    • PAD to cc#3 - I can't believe how much of a difference this is making. Also feeling more motivated because I'm checking the balance every day. And it's also v nice that I've now only got one balance left to clear! (Used to juggling another 2 cards.)
    • order flowers for mum's bday using vouchers (I get £40 retail vouchers every month from work, which I pay £37 for. Helps me budget for pressies.)
    • get parcel redelivered on Friday when I'm off work so I don't need to get the bus to the depot place
    • update spending diary :A and check totals for March  First month in - can't believe how much goes on food, over and above the big online shop we do.
    • decide on an Easter cake to bake to take to my sisters next week (or might just use M&S voucher and buy one! :p)
    • heating off & unplugged heater in the bedroom
    • sort packed lunches for the week (only 4 days!:T)
    • meal plan and update online shop that's coming on Tues with anything we've forgotten
    • call sis using free w/e mins
    • a little hokey cokey
    • decide whether it's ok to eat my Easter egg as I won't be at home next weekend...:EasterBun

    xx

Crap day, got up for work at stupid o'clock to find DS hamster was on his last legs, he was ok last night! DS was blissfully unaware and thought he was just sleepy, though I suspect he just had his head in the F1 whilst he was cleaning his cage out. So I sat with Hammy and DS for a while and felt really bad that I had to leave them both and go to work :(:(:( As hamsters go he was very old, and he had been doddering for the last 3 weeks, more tired than usual, not as interested in his food. He was such a character, I am really going to miss him :(

    Anyway, my day....

    I have:
    • Skipped breakfast as sat with DS
    • Worked 6.5 hrs at enhanced rate
    • Took lunch to work, forgot teabags in rush, but found 25p in the machine for a cuppa...I did ask about, no-one claimed it
    • NSD - will update sig
    • 2 x HC and on airer
    • Sorted dry HC and put away
    • Dinner from stores - family having HM pizza, me not sure but on an extra easy day today, will search for inspiration
    • Sorted school and work clothes for tomorrow
    • Visited pigsback and found 4 CT waiting for me
    • Done some housework
    • Found 1 item to list on Amazon
    • Used free texts, calltime and mobile internet
    And still to do:
    • Sort lunch boxes and my breakfast for tomorrow
    • Check banking
    • List item on amazon
    • Bit more housework to do, load DW and vacuum
    • Visit mum as shes feeling neglected this week, think I have only seen her once :o
    • Early night, early start tomorrow
  • afternoon all :hello:
