Weekend 27th/28th March - What small DFW things will you do today?!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Gooooood morning folks....hoooray for late Saturday mornings

Just enjoying a cuppa while the house is quiet...girls fast asleep. I need to get showered and crack on though - busy day
I need to get the new trampoline up...ex-h said he'll help, but I want to get started before he appears to take girls for the day. I have Asda coming with my food between 11 and 1 then I need to scoot to the Uni library to return my books....before the fines get huuuuuge. My Mum and Stepdad coming this afternoon so will go for a wander round town with them, then they're taking the 3 of us for dinner....hooray, no cooking for me tonight

No, nicely busy - better get on with it!!
Today's list:

I hope you are all ok!!
ooo just need to say till having problems on ebay even with them not responding to my emails correctly and only answering part of my questions, its so frustrating but i think this buyer will get away with not paying which is discusting and unfair for the rest of us! i will keep in there until i get the answers i want.

Morning milly! - no list for you today? Thank goodness its Saturday and I got to have a lay in! Although a sad fact of my new career (I got promoted just over a year ago) is that I have to get up at 6am unless I'm on a late shift, this means that I'm now no longer able to sleep much later than 8 when I'm not working
(I can't stay up much later than 11 either!
)
Am deliberating on what I should do out of all the things that need to be done today... Here goes:- [STRIKE]Clean the kitchen[/STRIKE] (neglected to do it last night
)almost there have done 80%, problem is I hate cleaning...Done now
- dinner from stores
- [STRIKE]go buy saw from homebase[/STRIKE] going in about 20 mins and doing weekly shop too £9.59 reduced from £11.99
- [STRIKE]check if there are any surveys - BTW I still haven't received my cashback from onepoll...[/STRIKE]none
- check my credit rating
- [STRIKE]check store cupboard/fridge/freezer/draw up weekly meal plan [/STRIKE](possibly go shopping although feeling very lazy as its the weekend
) am just getting ready to go, only need to buy meat for 1 meal as still getting through stuff in freezer
Done overspent by £8.09 but bought toilet rools 16 for £3, enchillada pack, toothbushes, baby wipes and a couple of extras so should cut down next weeks bill - at least that's the plan...;)
- [STRIKE]start laying kitchen floor when oh returns from doing some overtime [/STRIKE](4 hrs) have actually started this at long last
have been taking up the previous 3 layers of flooring (yukkk its been horrible ) for the past 1 1/2 - almost done
- possibly go to the pub and use free drinks vouchers from the other week (am going to see if we can use the value off 2 drinks to set against a bottle
) laugh have fun try to forget that one of my colleagues is trying to bully me...seeing as its teeming down now will probably save this for tomorrow afternoon after we finish the floor
Boo just remembered I need to do about an hour of work at home today....:(:(:(
Also checked online banking and saw my Vodafone bill beginning of March was £50.50 :eek::eek:. Called vodafone to see how this was possible - monthly plan is £25 +VAT and I'm very careful about it, get updates throughout the month to ensure don't go over minutes, etc. Apparently I "signed up" for a competition, i.e. some company has scammed me for £10 , Vodafone refunded it to my account :TDF as at 30/12/16
Wombling 2025: £87.12

Today is a bonus day for me as we were supposed to be going to wales for the weekend to see OH dad, go on the beach with the doglets and generally de-stress as this week has been shocking..
