Hi all
Just popped in quickly to say 'hi'! Been awol for a few days -work's been really busy and have been really tired all weekso haven't posted for a few days.
Bit late to put a list up, but will dream up something overnight and post in the morning, but I might do a couple of comps before heading off to bed.
Been looking at cars with OH all day....groan! Didn't find anything we fancied, which I'm not sorry about as I'd rather keep the car we've already got, how MSE is that!
Have a good evening all,

Hi all, and Hi Urg - nice to see you, and huge congratulations on your DF status!!!
A late one from me today. I've just watched Matt Smith on Jonathan Ross courtesy of I-Player. I am so excited - new Doctor Who next week!!! :j Busy day today, with a couple of spends but nothing catastrophic. Was woken at 6 am with a text from B demanding a lift home from her all night school stay awake. She was bored as everyone else was asleep. to teenage girls not understanding the bliss of a weekend lie in.
1) Took T to Kidsclub at the cinema this morning. Just £1.25 each to see Ponyo, which was great. He absolutely loved it. Took some Polos to avoid paying for snacks. T also got to admire a beautiful Lego Atlantis window display, which for him is the equivalent of getting to view one of the Wonders of the World!
2) Popped into Fatface on the way back to the car. Got some trousers at 70% off because the button was missing - but they came with a spare attached! Woo woo!
3) Also popped into Lidl on the way to car and spent £1.25 on two spinach pizzas, which we had for dinner.
4) Went charity shopping in the afternoon with OH and a now awake (but v grumpy) B. Got B a video for 10p and a top, but nothing else.
5) Dug a card , present and recycled wrapping paper out of my stash for B's friend for tomorrow.
6) Received £3 LVs from a survey in the post.
7) Checked banking, quidco and did SC.
8) Read my library book and played Only Connect on the BBC website for free entertainment. I'm so Rock and Roll.
Right, off to bed. Car booty beckons in the morning, but with the clocks going back I don't know if I will be awake in time to nab any bargains! See you tomorrow, L x0 -
Hi all
Just popping in (usually last to post as usually post in eve so nice to be somewhere in the middle for a change:D..BOO to clocks changing back..but YIPPEE to nice light mornings!)
So far this weekend we have:- switched off heating..heres hoping its for good. Its almost April for g*ds sake
- OH has started beer brewing kit I got him in true MSE style for Christmas. Got the bottles today (including saving some from recycling bins across the neighbourhood so MSE and very green!:D Due to bottle soon (today?)
- made bread with lots of yummy seeds
- received a Bold sample through the post
- stocked up on meat with lovely local butcher..fraction of price of a supermarket
- checked online banking..looking fine. Bonus safely banked in long term savings account but pondering moving it to OP against mortgage
- planted more herb and veggie seeds - germinating nicely on top of the washing machine:rotfl:
- go and buy DDs wedding outfits for friends wedding next Saturday - but luckily found some hand me downs for youngest from a friend so shes pleased and I only now have 1 outfit to find
- try not to spend any more money than we absolutely have to in town today - stay focussed team (I will have to remind myself as we rarely do clothes shopping and it has a tendency to get bit silly with impulse buys if not VERY careful:()
- some home and have a meal with neighbours - a lamb curry (already made yesterday by OH)
Have a great weekend everyone..MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Morning all!
It's a nice breezy but sunny day here - been out with the dog for a brisk walk already (he doesn't understand clocks changing, if its light its time to get up!)
Had a good day yesterday with OH - went out for brunch and he paid (2 for £10), went to the cinema and used my SU card to get a discount, on the way out a lady gave me 4 free Bold samples - strange place to give out washing powder but I'm not complaining!
Dropped him off at the pub to watch the end of the footballl but came home and walked the dog instead and then we both stayed in for the evening and watched a film.
Today I will..- Do 2 washes and dry naturally
- Hoover and dust the house
- Clean the car
- Cook Sunday dinner later
- Get stuff ready for little trip to Wales to see family tomorrow
- Do 1 job application later
- Moved some money from other account to current account for trip
- Do any surveys that come
- Have a LSD (can't really think of anything I need except a carwash - £2)
