• Hi Greent, sorry to hear you've come down with a bug. I hope DS3 feels better soon - horrible when kids are ill.

    Considering you've felt ropey you've achieved a lot :)

    Best wishes, Tilly x

Hope you are feeling much better today
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Well I've packed DS3 off to school today! He woke up yesterday morning with clearly the fever having broken but I still felt it was wise to keep him off another day. The fact that he was bouncing around in an annoying & very noisy manner (having no siblings at home to play with) yesterday convinced me that he's well enough to go today. I'm fully expecting him to be shattered at the end of the day but he will enjoy seeing his friends again :) Plus it means I can get some things done - the dining table currently has the remains of yesterday's craft activities still on it :)

I'm better than I was - it's all on my chest now, really, which is tiring but better than the snotty headachy-ness! Today I've already made flapjacks & the rest of the day involves housework (kitchen, dining room & lounge to be tackled, along with ironing) and Sainsbob shopping. Then quick whizz to get DS2 & DS3 from school then pop to get DS1 (he normally rides his bike but it was tipping it down and he had his art stuff so DH dropped him off before going to Wales) - drop them off at home with snacks and rush out to DD's parents' evening (my first apt is at 4.30). Whilst I'm at that DH will hopefully arrive home early and take DS1 to orthodontist (obv taking small 2 along - sadly DS1 needs to be 16 to attend by himself) When we all get back, feed the troops and then DH and I are off to see James in concert in Bristol tonight. :D

MSE/ MFW stuff? - absolutely nothing to report. I'm hoping for some £co and TCB payouts later this month and I still need to list some items on fleabay - I have a small OP required to take us down to the next level and not really any spare funds for it without these (Xmas shopping has started!)

Must get on! All diaries now caught up on except GG's - which will require more free time than I have today! :D

    xx

    Can't believe I haven't updated for 2 weeks!

Couple of small ebay sales means I should have about £20 to OP this week. Plus £10 from TCB. Still waiting for some £co monies :(

Just listed 19 items on ebay - terribly boring!! However, already have interest in 4 of them :)

Other news? - none really. Xmas shopping is continuing slowly (must update my lists this weekend) Changed some euros left from hols and OPd them. Trying to stop DH looking at yet another car!!!!!

Food shopping has been up this month. PArtly because we actually had run stocks quite low! And also we're having veg boxes at the mo - and they're not A!di prices lol!

Ooh - made marmalade for the first time ever last week (4 fruit - lime, lemon, orange and grapefruit) and is is very yummy! Will give a few jars away at Xmas - but am enjoying eating it myself! (Not good for the waistline, though - on thick sliced, buttered white toast!!) :D:D

Hi Greent, I always feel exhausted after reading your diary as you seem to fit so much in! How was the James concert? I love James and Bristol isn't that far for us to travel to so I must have a look what's going on there :)

Your marmalade sounds delish, especially on thick buttery toast. I'm having a fasting day today (doing 5:2) so i'm feeling rather hungry Now

Sounds like eBay is going well for you, I'm not doing so well on there at the moment but I've ran out of things to sell really. I think I've only got car boot stuff left which can stay in the loft until next year.

James was fab, thanks!! Tim Booth was his usual nightmare for security self, crowd surfing, holding hands, getting right by the front crowd - fantastic! The encore was brilliant - we were in the balcony (all standing tickets having sold out - we never stand if we can help it lol) and for the first encore they did Born of Frustration - with Time Booth coming up into the balcony and walking along the edge of seats and then getting some people out to dance with him. It's on y0ut00b and I'm in the background off to one side when he's dancing with one audience member and most of what you can see of me is my chest (I was wearing a strappy vest top) jiggling about whilst I'm dancing - not the best sight!!:rotfl::o But it was a good night! Parking in Bristol is pants, though!

2 more things on fleabay sold tonight:j Bids on 4 more:j and watchers on some others. Have a heap of H@ppyland that I shall try and list tomorrow whilst I still have some free listings to take advantage of! :D Oooh - and a party frock from Debut needs listing too :) Other than that I only really have my coin/ foreign notes/ stamps/ first day covers collections to list at the mo :o (I was a sad teenager!!) - not the most exciting items to list - somewhat limited appeal!! Although I do have a Raspberry pi kicking about to get rid of - must dig that out too.....

I get intrigued by 5:2 but no way could I persuade OH to be on board with the 2 element :(

Wow, sounds fab! I've seen them a few times in Birmingham and at festivals and they always put on a good show. Shame he didn't dance with you though :rotfl:

It's a shame I didn't know about your raspberry pi, we've just brought another one! Hope it sells for you :)

I have to say I'm struggling with the 2 element of 5:2 this week, it was supposed to be a fast day yesterday but I got so hungry I ended up pigging out. I'll try again on Sunday :o

Would have loved to have been pulled out of the crowd to dance with him! :D

Forgot to list the pi :( - must try harder now that tomorrow = new month = 20 more free listings - I hereby pledge to use them up this week (otherwise it's getting too close to Xmas!!!)

ALso MUST write a list of what I still need to get for Xmas!! Bought DS1's new bike today (far too many £££s!) so that's a major one crossed off. Part of my mum's has been delivered to store in town, so will get into there this week and collect that :)

Have finally caught up on all diaries - yeay! :rotfl:

Sold another couple of small things on ebay - made £25 OP today (so am counting it in Dec, as that's when it'll show in the accounts) and (if another one pays) should have another £10 from there. Have bids on another couple of things too :) Also withdrew a tiny amount of cbk from tcb so will OP that :) (Was only available from that retailer to take as a BGC, so no bonus added to it :()

Mtge payment goes out tomorrow - which should see us drop into the 12s:j Am not going to get significantly any lower than that during Dec but will OP any ebay sales & cashback, so may shave another few £s off :) Am very chuffed with ultimate progress this year :)

Right - my bed is calling me... night all xx
