Brilliant news all round
I went to Vienna approximately a million years ago - in the Easter hols of my 2nd year at poly, with the Drama Society and Shaw's Devil's Disciple. It was magicalwent to the Volksoper and stood in the Gods to watch Carmen. more magic.

Congratulations on the results.
I haven’t been CPs since DDs were young, all this talk has made me think we need to plan to take DGS!
Have a lovely time in Vienna0 -
Thank you!
Today is our 23rd wedding anniversary. OH is still snoring away in bed!(actually - it's only DS3 and myself up - as it's nearly 10am I must rectify that!!)
Yesterday we had a fun few hours out yesterday (abandoned thoughts of DIY) - went and had a look around the lovely old cars and bikes here - http://www.gloucester.gov.uk/Documents/Retro%2018%20photos.pdf. The owners are usually happy to chat and let you look at things closely if you're interested. Some beautiful, beautiful vehicles. Also popped into beautiful Gloucester Cathedral to look at this - https://www.facebook.com/WorkofHeartGarden/ - amazing knitted/ crocheted garden/ bedroom. You honestly cannot appreciate the detail of the items from the pics. Simply beautiful. Also raising money for a fantastic cause.
Out to dinner last night with besties (for her bday and our anniv) - Ivy Brasserie in Cheltenham. Lovely food, a small amount of alcohol, a very relaxed evening and then home to bed. I love having older children around to look after the younger 2 - so convenient!
Today it is raining..... no outside diy, although I am hoping to persuade husband (when he eventually awakens) to fill/ rub down in the kitchen. I'm also planning on baking bread and a lemon Victoria-type sponge. And brunch. So not sure about the diy stuff.... Maybe tomorrow!
Definite feeling of Autumn in the air. I shall ignore all of this - it's still officially Summer! (although I have worn socks for the past couple of days - flip flops are getting less use)
I need to think about what I want to take to Vienna (Not much - we may be able to get away with one hand luggage suitcase between the 2 of us) Weather is apparently warm- hot there next week... Thankfully we will have the services of a guide for our break - my aunt now lives there and so can show/ tell us about places to go/ see/ eat atOur hotel is (apparently) reasonably close to city centre, so we shall see
I need to post a flebay parcel today (courier - so can drop off at local garage) and also amend the remaining listings to show we are away for a few days.
Time to wake some other people up, methinks!:D

Happy anniversary Greent!
OH and I went to Gloucester cathedral last weekend during our weekend away. I was so impressed by the knitted garden too, thought it such a lovely idea. The cathedral itself was stunning too.
