It was
I ended it by doing 2 hours of ironing whilst watching tv - I sure know how to live! The small 2 were sleeping in the caravan with OH - they love it. OH and I end up communicating by text or waves - the caravan is at the front of the house with it's main side window opposite the front living room window - which I face when doing ironing. There's a tv and digi box and it's hooked up to the mains (in the garage) and OH takes milk out to the fridge so he can make drinks and there's a loo... they are all set for the night! And I have a peaceful evening
Today's plans... fat club this morning - I'm being useless at it and can't get motivatedI also need to pop into Tesc0 and buy yet more milk and fruit. Not sure what to do later - may go to the library with the small 2. It's meant to be a lovely day, so I may also take them for a walk along the canal and see if we can find some ducks and swans - and maybe pokemon!
DD is at work 11-4. I do need to do some housework too - I've put last night's ironing away this morning but that's it so far! Oh - and I need to check the bank accounts - will go and do that now before I forget (again!):)

The shopping day *does* sound good
And the caravan arrangement sounds so sweet, thats lovely!
The whole south of England is supposed to be having really beautiful weather today, isn't it - certainly looks like that now, though it was really misty at 6am or so - maybe thats *because* today is going to be so good2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
All sounding good in greent-land
& congrats to your DD! :T
Am still amazed you managed to resist so many of the shops in Disneyworld  Usually by day three I've caved to at least one useless pin badge :rotfl:a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -

Well it was GCSE results day today.... and DS1 is away with army cadets. I was handing out results anyway so I went in early and picked up his results 50 minutes before the other Y11 students so that I could book him into VIth form (a long and arduous process, for some reason, even for those with no grade/ subject issues) I was very pleased with his results - 5 x A*, 2 x A, 4 x B and 1 x C. He took a couple of short course GCSEs in Y9 too, so has those grades as well (I can't remember what they were!) His grades included A* in methods in maths, applications of maths, chemistry, biology and Geography. He got A in Further maths and physics. He's a science based lad!His A2 choices are maths & stats, chemistry and biology, with psychology as an AS. He's coming home tomorrow. I shan't be here when he gets back but am looking forward to having the boy home
