    Gosh, no. OH and I bought our first house (2 bed terrace) when we were both 21 and not in v well paid jobs. Can't see many 21 year olds being able to do that now :( The same house now sells for about £120k, I think. No idea what an average 21 year old couple would earn, though. And things like our car insce were only about £150/ year..

    She is now 10 and still with us. How dare she :p

    lol! We keep trying to lose a child - telling people that we've still got another 3 so it would be ok (and that they can return them when they're 18 & earning :D) - never seems to work though..... :D

    My 17 YO is studying and working part time..we had to force him to work mind you ...and as for paying rent...You'd think I was torturing him when I mentioned it. :)

    Whoop whoop! Got about £150 in ebay funds to OP after this weekend :D Yeay for FLDs :D

    And my mum has had a huge sort out of clothes and said I can do what I want with them. Will keep a few items and ebay some and charity some. Includes lots of Rocha, Next, Hypno, Principles, Wallis & M&S - should give a few pennies. Also have several Baby Gap items to ebay :D Yeay :)
