Gosh, no. OH and I bought our first house (2 bed terrace) when we were both 21 and not in v well paid jobs. Can't see many 21 year olds being able to do that now
The same house now sells for about £120k, I think. No idea what an average 21 year old couple would earn, though. And things like our car insce were only about £150/ year..
