Evening all!! Just been trying to catch up on the boards a bit and saw PO did the deed early!! :D

Anyways, thank you all for your anniversary wishes :D:D We had a good time camping - weather was good Fri, Sat & Mon, Bit dodgy on Sun in the day, but overall it was good and the kids really enjoyed it. Have done 6 :eek: loads of washing today - all dry bar two animal thick hoodies which will hopefully finish off in the dining room o/night. Will start on the ironing in a mo.....

Camp site was quite basic (no pitches marked out, 1 amenities block (5 cubicles and 2 showers for the women) - 2 washing up sinks but was lovely and flat and owner v friendly. About 10+ tents/ campervans went together - so we had sitting around in a big circle at night, which was nice :)

Re IKEA kitchens - I like them myself, too, but they are not quite in the same league as the one we ended up with :p We did have a bertie bargain with our granite though :D

DS1 goes back to school on Thurs, DS2 starts school on Fri (eek!) and DD goes back on Monday - madness!!:D

Right - must get off her and start ironing. WIll attempt to carry on catching up with diaries tomorrow :)

HI greent, glad you had a nice weekend. My lot go back on Thursday too and I just know there is something I have forgotten to get! I have to pick up DS2s jumpers from the school as they didnt have any when term ended and I want him to go on his first day back with full uniform. I am hoping they are there tomorrow.

I have trouble keeping up with diaries as well as there is just so much I want to do in such a short space of time arrghhh

Just put another £25 over - balance according to C&G = £96319.33 :D - that's a capital reduction of £8650 for the year so far (don't know what it was 'meant' to be) As our income for the first 6 weeks of the year was JSA at £64.70 (or similar figure) - (taxed) + child benefit and then we took no drawings from OH's co until the end of April so effectively only had child ben as an income from mid Feb - end April, that's not too shabby, imo! :)

Have some ebay things ending this weekend - hopefully some more monies will be winging their way to the mtge after that! :D

  • Well done! That's really good going.
  • Congratulations! Very wise to do this before the children get REALLY expensive!
