I loved the time when QE II opened the Docklands light railway.
That "mickey mouse" railway was something of a novelty in the 1980's - it has no driver, the
advantage being that a family could sit right at the front with a pic nic on the window sill "driving" the train through the rain.

Anyway with all the pomp and show, off they went with Liz 2 the most important passenger.
So "the guard" (*) did not bother to go through the motions at each station and so arrived early at the destination.

Everyone than had to sit there feeling really foolish.
The managements system knew the the train had not yet arrived because of the time, and refused to open the doors;)

(*)Passenger Service Agent (PSA), originally referred to as a "Train Captain".

My car has "fly by wire" operation of both the transmission and the accelerator. I know exactly how to stop it, no matter what happens to either.

BTW I don't know why Mikey is replying to my posts, since I have him on ignore I cannot see the content (unless quoted as above). Still, it's his time, and if he wants to continue being abusive as he was in the child seat threads then he can continue to be so in the knowledge that the recipient of his abuse cannot see it.

Not exactly replying, more using pew pew as a prime example of how wrong and misguided someone who claims to know every fact about the Toyota cases, without having even a basic grasp of how a fly by wire system works.
