Lc, he's agreeing now, as if we do it for him as a person not a vehicle, we can use it in any car for the next year. Mucho bonus....and there's £50 quidco cashback and we could have a nice dinner on that

Had my hair cut today - but no hairdresser has ever been able to blow dry it the way I do, (it is long and curly) so I always look an ejeet when i come out and never come out looking a million dollars like you should when you leave the hairdressers. Tomorrow will be different I hope after I have done what I need to do to it! My daughter's, on the other hand looks lovely - but then it always does.

:rotfl: Phew! I keep getting told I'm too picky, so I did wonder if this was a step too far!

But seriously...my XOH and his family used to snipe at me for being 'posh' (I'm SO not!!) if I dared to use words of over two syllables. After years of feeling like I was being sneered and laughed at, I gave up and let my brain switch off.

It wasn't until I met Voldemort that it really woke back up again. Guess he had his uses. :o

Totally get where you're coming Snaggs - I obviously used to limit my speech when I was with my ex & his family, one of friends said to me not so long ago "your vocubulary has blossomed since you left him, its nice to hear the real Inky again" (I was a bit embarassed but also quite chuffed :o)

Yes, I knew someone who thought if you dident work with your hands ie plumber, joiner you dident have a 'proper' job.
That I was lazy because I sat in an office all day!!!!

Beanie - Sounds like my ex MIL, who thought nothing of ringing me at work if she had to go somewhere unexpectedly, saying "well you can take me can't you, cos you can't be doing anything sitting at a desk all day", apparently only manual labour is "real" work :rotfl:

Beanie, theres a few jobs that he's been asked to do here, my bay window roof needs sorting and hes building a shed for paul and hes repainting my kitchen, surely he wouldn't not turn up to do the work in the bathroom knowing theres a lot more paid work here for him, anyway he only lives 2 streets away
