His family are very odd, they do have this attitude that anything that involves you using your brain, or wanting to better yourself, is something that should be sneered at. Strange.
Although having the biggest TV in the neighbourhood is the ultimate achievement...
BB - I was the swotty one at school too. Had the perm, the glasses, the dodgy teeth, the acne and the painful shyness to complete the overall effect too.

Is it a bad thing if Pint joins the AA before Sunday mainly as his van is on the verge of giving up the ghost and we need to get us, plus it, back home? I'd pay for the full year obviously, just wondered if anyone thought it was naughty...It hasn't broken down, but it will

I don't think so - they let you join on the motorway, offering instant cover, so it must happen all the time
