    Morning all,

2nd day of delurkdom...I must say I do feel a bit of an intruder, but I am sure that will pass, after a while. Don't feel able to comment much or support.

Off to visit family later today, yay! Need to do a couple of things on the bit of the thesis I am working on...you will here a lot about it.
Tidy up a bit, and get pizzas for Sunday night form Morrisons!

    See you later,

    Dot.

  • Morning everyone,

    I hope you're all ok?!?!

Just a quick check in before I drive to Heathrow.

My OH is home - :j:j, however on the way home the car broke down. And is now a non starter. After raiding a small part of the savings, we've got a Hyandi Getz, which will mean a massive saving on tax, insurance and fuel - as the previous car was a 2.2.

Also the thermostat has broken on the shower, so cold showers a plenty! That can be sorted when we get back.

thankfully I've not washed any passports or tickets!

right time to finish the packing.

see you all soon and have a great Easter! And eat lots of chocolate/creme eggs!

    Morning all

LMC - Glad your OH is back safe and sound, at the car tho. Enjoy your holiday! :T

Buns - Enjoy your trip - I used to be full of enthusiasm for trips like that until I stepped foot on the coach and realised just how loud kids are.

Dot - What's the thesis on? Hope you have a productive day.

Luc - Don't waste your time with bitter thoughts (easier said than done, I know) but concentrate on today and getting this job and how your life is going to move on to the next phase.

DD1 has been asked to a disco by a boy that is the spit of Gok, so we're off "disco outfit" shopping tomorrow :j I think I might like this stage of having daughters.

morning all especially new de-lurkers (i am relitivly new myself only started daily chat a few weeks ago)

well had my job interview yesterday, now even more sure they have someone already lined up for the post, had a small feeling about it due to a couple of things such as very short time the advert was up, REALLY low esential qualifacations for the jobs pay band, anyways get to the interview and they only had 8 questions! was in and out in about 20-25 mins hell it took me twice as long to drive there than i spent in the interview! oh well its all fun and extra practice in interviews

hope everyone is good, sorry i missed out completely on the daily chat yesterday was just busy getting myself ready

wont be around much this morning as got a meetins for a few hours, have to say i could really be doing with out it

Dot....you aren't intruding...we were all new once...just jump right in..we will soon find out all about you.

Luc...I can only echo what Bunny has said...she has met you ..and she likes you. That is good enough for me. I like you - nuff said.

Today I will be 'working on my business' a la 90 day plan committed to paper last week. In between mopping up sick. Both DD1 and DD3 spent all night being sick and I have been up since 4....am now minding them both along with grandson.

Got a counselling session at 10 as well.

Ooops I forgot I started to run a bath about half hour ago!

Bun, I am waiting for the bruises to come out. It just hurts when I sit down....but that's my own clumsiness.

Plam for today is I get the train and Pint'll meet me there....it takes the same amount of time to get to my mum's as it does to get to home.....so it's worthwhile and it'll save money. Just making sure I'm all packed and funkydory, then I'll be off...
