i think i use the same fabric seller as mentioned above
they sent me a heart filled with lavender with my material
knowing what i do about herbs, i know you should not use lavender in or on anything to be worn by a male
so no, its not the best thing to do in this instance
and i LOVE the smell of it myself0 -

Why? I love lavender and it was used by Roman soldiers for the entire lifespan of the Empire? And I am a huge bloke who does martial arts and used to be a rugby union prop forward. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Jings....... I NEVER THOUGHT i'd see the day that people are moaning about getting a wee freebie !!!!
Oooooooft indeed :eek:0 -
im quite jelous! you lot keep getting free things and ive only got one free out of the entire 6 years ive been on ebay

Dont moan about, just keep it. If you feel that it is no way in relation to your item then question the seller. Why the hell would you feel obliged to pay for it? you didnt order it, it was their mistake, they should either pay postage or say just keep it and keep in mind to be more careful next time.
and i wouldnt dare eat sweets from a seller... there are too many nutters out there![STRIKE]0.5 st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1.5st [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]2st[/STRIKE] 2.5st 3st 3.5st 4st 4.5st 5st :j0 -
I got a little bag of sweets with a t shirt I bought for my son and I thought it was a really nice touch.
Why wouldn't you eat sweets sent from a seller if they were in sealed packet or wrapped lolly pop?
I've included the odd sweet item from time with stuff i've sold through amazon and ebay. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -
As people can go to serious lengths in fiding ways to contaminate items with out breaking the seals. Anything else mind and i'll snap their hands off. haha[STRIKE]0.5 st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1.5st [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]2st[/STRIKE] 2.5st 3st 3.5st 4st 4.5st 5st :j0

I thought that too.lilmiss1982 wrote: »Why wouldn't you eat sweets sent from a seller if they were in sealed packet or wrapped lolly pop?
Firebox always include sweeties in orders, never seen a problem with it (I don't actually eat them though, as they seem to be gummis and I'm a veggie- still appreciate the idea though.
) This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I'm not the kind of person who just assumes an extra item is free and keeps it - for all I know somebody else could have ordered that item and is waiting for it somewhere. It has happened 3 times so far just this week and only one of the items was marked "free gift" with a little smiley, which I thought was very sweet. That seller has a happy customer, the other 2 have a slightly confused customer.
It means I have to send an email to the seller and ask. If the item is not a gift and I ask the seller and he says it's a mistake then I will feel obliged to send it back to them or pay for it. With the return postage at my expense presumably.
Sellers, if you include a gift or sample PLEASE say so in your listing or just scribble on the invoice so we know! Thank you.
Depends what the extra is I suppose. If it's a little thing of not much value why not just assume it's a pressie and they're trying to please their customers and build goodwill and a good ebay profile?"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
