I've had to plant my salad outside because I've run out of room! :rotfl: My window sills are full of seed trays, I only have a plastic 3 tier greenhouse which has my veggies, busy lizzies, snapdragons etc hardening off in.
I want to get my basket plants and fuschias/geraniums as smaller plants while they're cheaper, to grow on, but I've nowhere to put them. I think I'll have to curb my enthusiasm slightly next year, or plan a bit better.

Sounds like you have things growing everywhere, I'm finding it tough moving loads of pots around the house and garden all the time to follow the sunlight!! Have no idea where I am going to put most of them eventually also :o. Ah well it certainly is a fun learning curve!

Not just following the sunlight but keeping them out of the way of a very inquisitive dog who can't help sticking her rather large nose into everything.
Don't think I'll bother with things like snapdragons next year - they've not done very well and the local nursery does cheap plug plants to grow on.
For some reason I seem to do well with larger seeds, but with the tiny seed they germinate ok then it all goes a bit pear shaped. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but with the limited space I'm probably better off sticking to things I know are going to be worthwhile.

Not sure what you're doing wrong there, I've grown chives from seeds a few times and once they get going, they just grow.

But chives you might as well buy from a GC, once you have them and as long as you keep down the weeds around the plant, you should have them forever, divide them every couple of years and get a few clumps going round the garden (I might even take my own advice on this :D).

Either get some from a friend, many people divide up their clumps about this time, or buy some and get some mature chives you can use now, it's worth buying some just for that.

If you're anywhere near Nottingham you're welcome to have a clump off me - I've got lots that I have divided year on year like Lotus said.....

Managed to get loads of buckets from morrisons. So far this morning I have filled 2 with some plants I had left from hanging baskets. Planted more spring onions also some sweetcorn and Spinich. Potted on some chilli plants. I am now going to attach trellis to the fence ready for various climbers I have.

I am happy today I spotted my first blossom on my cherry tree : )
