Thanks, but I feel like an interloper! :rotfl:
Glad you managed to get a good deal elsewhere. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
I planted some cut and come again salad leaves and spinach in pots outdoors today. Possibly a bit early, but as they're in a sheltered spot, I decided to take the chance.
Still waiting to put the courgettes and peas out though, probably give them another couple of weeks.
I also found another shrub which has turned up its toes after the cold winter.:( And did a mega prune of a huge bushy thing that I've been ignoring for a couple of years. It's looking seriously bare at the moment, and the birds are scratching their heads and looking baffled at their shelter having disappeared (no nests, I did check first), but it's one of those that springs back overnight. I hope. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I also did salad leaves and spinach this weekend too albeit in container trays. Ran out of seed now so need to stock myself up for a continuous sowing. Goodness me courgette seedlings are right beefy things aren't they, they are looking very fit and healthy 4 of them are so have done another 6 to give away to people.Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0

When I see your face there's not a thing that I would change 'cause your amazing just the way you are0 -
I've had to plant my salad outside because I've run out of room! :rotfl: My window sills are full of seed trays, I only have a plastic 3 tier greenhouse which has my veggies, busy lizzies, snapdragons etc hardening off in.
I want to get my basket plants and fuschias/geraniums as smaller plants while they're cheaper, to grow on, but I've nowhere to put them. I think I'll have to curb my enthusiasm slightly next year, or plan a bit better. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

It rained here today and i'm actually pleased about that! LOL, because my water butts needed filling. Well the rain filled one of them and then i used it to make some fertiliser. I've been reading online about weeds making an excellent free fertiliser so i gathered up me weeds and then put them in a massive empty pot and covered them with water and stirrred it all up. Apparantly you have to stir the mixture every day for a week or so and then leave it for a month and it can then be water down and used as a fertiliser. I'll report back on here if it works! The mixture is said to stink to high heaven though...Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
