On the home page it now says free credit expires 30/9/06 - does anyone remember seeing a free credit expiry date before?0

You aren't allowed to mention those people on this site!I've been using mine on allofmp3
Certainly wasn't on the first couple I ordered. On the home page it now says free credit expires 30/9/06 - does anyone remember seeing a free credit expiry date before? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

I am not very happy with easymobile and wished i never joined , i didnt know know i could go in a negative balance with this sim as it was pay as you go , but my sim was blocked and i didnt know why , i found out its cause i went over my balance by £15 and they also Charged me £5 on top of that for blocking my sim.
so now i owe £20 which i refuse to pay , can they charge my card for this
Bit annoying as i cant even get on there chat room to enquiry this.
Just spoke to someone he was very rude and said its our t&c and that he will not close the account , if they think they will get the £20 can go do a running jump....0 -
i've just cancelled an account for a sim, one of the older ones with the 19.66 offer.
my wife didnt want it and i lost the sim, the cost of a new sim was £3.
So i thought, cancel it, and i get 15.66 back in my account.....eerr. no.
all that happened is 19.66 got wiped off the card , now showing a balance of £1, so i guess they will be wanting £4....like you dealmad, they can take a running jump.0 -
As I have read if you now have £1 credit and cancel thats it all done.
They wipe off any free credit first if you cancel.
And Dealmad, beware you dont get a court summons or bad credit listing. Best to sort it out one way or another.0 -
Well i asked for overdraft facility to be taken of my account a while back , they wrote an email to ask to confirm and i cant remember if i replied to that.
I doubt they will take me to court for £20 but if they do i will fight it because i feel im not in the wrong here.
Its annoyed me so much that ther eis no way i will give them anything0 -
Dealmad, if you can find evidence that you confirmed for the overdraft to be cancelled, then you shouldn't have a problem.
This is why I always text for balance after each call, it's free, and ensures I stay on the right side.
Hope you find the email. Good luck."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Well i am told now that even if you cancel the overdraft facility that you can still end up going overdrawn and they said i still owe the money and they just keeping telling me its in there T&C.
I was just told that if you stop the overdraft facility then they try to keep it close to zero as much as possible , but there is no guarantee and i dont call £20 close to zero.
I was told if i was on a call they wouldnt just cut me off if i went into negative credit , so much use cancelling the overdraft facility is then.0
